Classic double room. The room was clean and comfortable, but I didn’t have enough free access to a mirror in the room to apply makeup. I was also surprised by the lack of a refrigerator. The location of the hotel is quite good and the rooms are decent. The single rooms just don't have any view and are quite quiet. Even the air conditioner is spoken in German and I don’t know how to operate it. The room is not warm in the winter, and I don’t know how to operate the air conditioner for heating. The bathroom is quite big. Fortunately, there is a clothes heater in the bathroom. The bed was very soft, as is typical in Austria.

Very impressed with our stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, great restaurant, superb location right at the centre of the old town.
Would definitely stay here again next time in Innsbruck.

Review is for a Deluxe Room. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and it was the best hotel we stayed at during our 3 week trip in Europe. Our room was extremely clean and large with a dedicated sitting area and a large bathroom. There was no room-to-room noise. The staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Location in old town Innsbruck is excellent; it is in a pedestrian area, but taxis can access this location. Without hesitation we would stay at this hotel again if in Innsbruck. Breakfast was very good; breakfast staff sufficiently attentive. Streetcar/Trams are fairly close as well.

Just returned from a trip to Innsbruck and had a great stay in the Best Western Plus Goldener Adler hotel. Fantastic location in city center, just walk out the door and you are in the mix of sights and restaurants. The history of the hotel is a sight in of itself to read through the lists of previous guests. The on-site restaurant is worth a visit with great food and service. If you want to have an historic stay, this is the place.
