Hotel A A Baba Palace

This Hotel is an nightmare. I am from Mumbai and My family and I traveled from Mumbai to Ujjain and from Ujjain to Indore, the auto driver dropped us off at Baba Hotel at indore, claiming that all other hotels were fully booked. The owner gave us a room for four people without air conditioning but we later found out he charged us for a **room for five people with AC. When we confronted that the charges are unfair, then instead of addressing the issue, he offered a refund and suggested we leave. Unfortunately, we had no last-minute alternatives, and we also had an elderly grandmother with us who required a walking stick for support, so we reluctantly agreed. Initially, the owner was very polite and assured us of hot water from 7 am to 11 am, with an option for intermediate usage if needed. However, the next morning, he disconnected the room geyser at 9 am, told us generator is not working so no more hot water however all other appliances including the lift in the hotel was working completely fine. Since we had further plans our departure from Indore was scheduled for 2 pm, the owner had promised to accommodate our luggage in his waiting room after the 11 am checkout time, ***** with access to a restroom. However, when we checked out at 11 am, handed over the keys, and stored our luggage in the waiting room, leaving our grandmother with one sister to take care of her in the waiting room for lunch. This owner just 30 minutes after we left, began harassing my sister, demanding payment or leave his waiting room as his other customers are coming. When we returned at 12 pm, we found both my sister and grandmother stranded on the road with our luggage still in the waiting room. When I went in the owner was sitting in the empty waiting room leisurely having lunch while my sister and granny were standing on the road on their own..The owner even denied my grandmother access to the restroom which he had promised earlier. When I confronted him, he told me to leave immediately stand outside and that his worker would hand my luggage outside. Lastly, I am not sure if this is even a family friendly hotel because the whole corridor stenched of cigarette and loud music at night from 9 PM. I strongly advise anyone against choosing this Hotel to save yourself and your family members from having a bad experience and for their safety. If it were possible, I would have given this place a negative 5 rating..
