Plaza Del Norte Hotel and Convention Center
3.9/56 Reviews
Nothing less than extraordinary described my stay at the Plaza Del Norte Hotel and Convention Center. I received professional and friendly greetings as soon as I entered the lobby. A long day of activity could be spent comfortably in the accommodations, which were roomy, tidy, and elegantly furnished. Because of the convention center and other on-site services, this hotel is a great option for both business and leisure tourists. The personnel went above and beyond to make sure my needs were satisfied. Anyone looking for an excellent hotel experience should definitely check out Plaza Del Norte.

Palm Grove Saud Holiday Complex Hotel

We had a great stay here with my family. We are a group of 14 pax and booked their superior and family room. Rooms are spacious and clean!! This hotel is also a dog friendly hotel, we bought our 3 dogs (shih tzu, frenchie and pomeranian) with us and they are allowed inside the room and restaurant ❤. Staffs are accommodating and friendly too! Especially Lexus, the cutest receptionist I've ever encountered. Look for Lexus always! 🤣 Sorry i forgot to take pictures with him. Oh, he is the owner's dog btw. 😅 who greets everyone with a wagging tail 🥰 I also recommend their food. The restaurant is a must try!! We spent roughly 2,600 for a good dinner meal for us all 14. We can say it was very sulit! Foods were delicious, big servings too. kudos to your chefs! We even ordered the exact same dishes for lunch before we left because it was very gooood 🤭 we ordered nilagang baka, sinigang na baboy, sisig bangus, pinakbet with bagnet, beef with ampalaya, bbq pork and bbq chicken. Two thumbs up!!! Their pools too are well maintained. Suprisingly, pool water was warm when we tried it. It was raining lightly but we did not mind since the water was warm enough. We totally enjoyed it. And the best part is the hotel is just near the white sand beach! Just 3 minutes walk! We stayed aug 15-16, there arent much guests/tourists around so we felt like we rented some parts of the beach and the hotel 😝. Though it was a very exhausting long ride, I can it was all worth it. Thank you again, Lexus and Team!! We will see you again. Stay safe! From Room #4 and #5 Aug 15-16, 2022
Java Hotel

I enjoyed staying here in spite of some things needing attention. The property is quite handsome with the Javanese look (with some Persian touches strangely) in spite of a gas station (eye sore) totally fronting the hotel. The design of the floors and platforms is also very interesting. And staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size with most amenities including good selection of TV channels with CNN/BBC/HBO, etc. Bottled water provided and good internet. Soap provided is cheap but a nice shower stall. Unfortunately, there was a bad smell coming out of the sink drain which was obvious when standing in front. There was no hot/cold control on the sink but it was fine. Decor is fine but dated. Major refurb / modernizing is needed.in the rooms. In particular, the door entry/lock system is like 50 years old (hard key with a button lock on the inside).desperately needs upgrading. The swimming pool is very nice at a good temperature. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good off a a set menu which is served. Great coffee, better than most in Philippines. Location is weird on the National Highway road in town but not close to the action which is 2 km away (and as already mentioned, it stands behind a large gas station). Noise was not an issue though. A good choice to stay when in the Ilocos Norte,
Viven Hotel

Laoag doesn't have lots of hotels. I googled for an accommodation and I chose Viven Hotel primarily because of its location. It's just right across Robinsons Place -- the best and biggest mall not just in the city, but in the entire Ilocos region. The room I booked was also spacious with a nice toilet and shower room, air-conditioning system, TV with cable channels, and so forth. As to the hotel itself, it's got quite a number of useful facilities ... a restaurant and a hair salon on the ground floor, a ****** Filipino upstairs, a souvenir shop, etc. I don't know if it's got a parking lot since I took a taxi from the airport, which is just about 10-15 minutes away. Hotel service is good and the staff is very helpful. They helped me organize a drop-off service to Pagudpud. Thumbs up!
Ikani Surf Resort

The place is very nice if you want to have peace and quiet or maybe its the time when i was around. The front beach is not ideal for a swim due to sharp rocky edges.. you will go to the lagoon which is a bit far from the place but still manageable. All in all i had a great experience
