Family of 8 with 2 teens. Booked family rooms which were interconnecting rooms. Double bed and double sofa bed. Fantastic views of the lake and gardens. Sunsets are beautiful. Rooms have fridge and hair dryers. Clean towels and bins emptied daily. As we were on the top floor our rooms were warm, air con was hit and miss if it worked but maintenance was out quickly to fix. Good showers in the bathrooms. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Lake / beach area was lovely and clean. Good snack bar too and all reasonable prices Take swim shoes for the lake as it’s quite rocky on the lake bed Local shop a 5 minute walk away along the lake and up the stairs, again, cheap prices for essentials Downside which TUI doesn’t advertise, you have to pay for your sun loungers both by the pool or lake. About £1 each per day. Make sure you get the discount ticket from reception for the lake as it’s shared with locals and nearby hotels. Free to put towels on grass or pebble beach of course. No entertainment on an evening but taxi in to Ohrid took about 15 mins and was around £5. Agree price in advance and ask reception to book it for you. Food wise. We booked half board. Breakfast was cereals, fruit, eggs, sausages, juice tea and coffee. The evening meal was buffet style with a selection of chicken, beef, pork, potatoes, salads, soup, breads, cheese and cold meats, fruit and desserts. There is an a la carte menu to pay separately but we didn’t bother The hotel is huge and not too busy either.
