Grand Aquarium

September was my 1st time in Turkey, stayed at Grand Aquarium and i would totally recommend this place The staff are amazing, they are so friendly and helpful The entertainment is brilliant Had my 1st turkish bath and massage was so relaxing There is also a hairdresser who is fabulous!! Its been a few weeks and my hair is still a lovely bright green 💚 master of hairr Got a pedicure Theres something for everyone whether your there alone or with family! I would love to go back 🥰

2nd time here, came in August last year and October this year, August was hot and October was lovely but just cooler at night as to be expected and the pools a good test of your bravery first thing! As for the hotel and staff we’ve never been dis-appointed, room cleaned daily, fresh towels, polite and friendly staff through-out the hotel and great entertainment lead by Cederic, Eddie and the team. Fantastic hotel, clean bedrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Be sure to stop by the hair dressers- Master of hairr is fantastic at hair extensions and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and we’re already booked for next year 😄

This hotel was absolutely brilliant by far one of the best holidays myself and family have had..the staff go above and beyond for there guests and it really is the staff that make the hotel amazing….the food is lovely the apartments are spacious and clean and the entertainment is brilliant all in all a fantastic holiday and will definitely be back soon

First time staying in this hotel we arrived in the night the reception was pick check in and helped with the cases The entertainment staff Cedric and Eddie are the most loveliest people from darts to pool to bingo and the night entertainment was different every night and the shows were fantastic Sally the manager couldn’t do anymore to help always smiled and always took her time to speak each day BBQ and form pool party was on Saturday the bbq was lovely and so many choices the pool party was fun and the kids enjoyed it Ali the head waiter and his staff were lovely and worked hard to make sure you were ok from serving food and drinks around the pool to evening meals Hotel itself is set back but only a 15-20 minute walk into Icmeler there’s a bus and the end of the road which comes every 7 minutes and takes u into icmeler and marmaris We loved it that much we’ve booked to go back

Been home 3 days from the grand aquarium what a fantastic hotel very family orientated. The staff are amazing. They can’t do enough for you Big shout out to Cedric. and Eddie they make it such an amazing experience even the restaurant staff are fantastic. They make it such a great place to be and it’s sad to leave.

This was our first time visiting the grand aquarium and won’t be our last! We spent 11 nights here in a 2 bedroom apartment, From the moment we arrived nothing was ever to much to ask for from all the staff. All so helpful and friendly. Management were always around and on hand. The restaurant staff Ali and his team were there day to night to provide you with food and drinks (even from around the pool they would come around asking if anything was needed) . The entertainment staff Cedric,Eddie and the others provided lots of laughs and fun for all ages from darts, football games, bingo and shows. We’re returning next year with more friends and family coming to join us.

Please continue to read why I rated it a one star it was due to an act in which I will go into detail from Ali. I would like to start the review with all the positives. The venue is in a lovely location set back from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Icemeler. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, each day we were provided three toilet rolls and fresh towels which were to a high quality. All the entertainment staff are extremely hard working and offer a range of activities. They have a break mid day which is perfect for those who want to be active then relax in the sunshine. There are plenty of sunbeds and staff will get extras if needed. The food from the restaurant was really nice and I would recommend their Desti Kebab. The ice cream is really reasonable priced and is so tasty perfect for a treat in the sunshine. There are alot of cats but they are treated really well and looked after and myself and my children love cats so we really enjoyed their company. The waiters are really polite and caring and work hard to ensure you have everything you need. Now for the negative. Unfortunately on one of the days I was sat with my 16 year old daughter in the restaurant when it was quite as she was catching up on her studies, we had already been served our drinks and were enjoying the quite time in the sun. I was reading my book and had my hair in a pony tail. Ali (aka Mr Ali) the restaurant/bar manager, came up behind me and grabbed my pony tail with force pulling my hair back. He stated 'you like your hair being pulled don't you? ' I nervously laughed and said 'Ali what the bleep?' At this point he was still pulling my hair back and pulled it hard back again, I repeated asked him to stop and he then stated 'I won't stop because you like it' at this point I had to raise my hand up and try and prise his hand off. He then stopped. I was in complete shock as we had been at the resort for over a week at this point, he was aware that I had a partner and no flirting etc had taken place. It was totally out of the blue. He then casually asked me what I was reading. The incident completely scared me and I became very distressed once the shock had worn off my daughter was also very shocked. The next day I felt I needed to say something as I took the time to read other reviews and realised that I wasn't the first person who he had made uncomfortable or treated inappropriately. I spoke with Saliye the manager, she was amazing and dealt with the incident really well. It was infront of a cctv camera and she confirmed that they worked, she ensured that Ali came to apologise to me but his apology was weak and he tried to make out that it was a joke and tried to make me feel I was being dramatic about the situation. I said to him that I didn't want him anywhere near me or my children for the rest of the stay and he respectfully did this. He clearly has it in his nature to act like this and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I slept with the table against
