We called the day we were arriving to upgrade our room to a hot tub with a view, the lady said its fine. When we arrived midnight on the Friday, there was no water in the hot tub. We woke up on the Saturday and asked them to fill it in which they did, went out for the day, came back for dinner at 19:30 and the hot tub was cold. Asked them to send someone to fix it, someone came at 21:30pm reset it said give it 15 minutes it will warm up, left it until 22:20 and it was colder than before. Went back down stairs to complain and they said that was the normal temperature. you couldn't even put your foot in there as it was freezing. We asked to speak to a manager there wasn't any on site and asked for a refund in which we were told we have to wait until tomorrow ( Sunday). Upon check out, there was no manager present but spoke to guest services, explained what's happened and asked for a refund for our upgrade which was 180 euros. After her going up to the room and feeling it, she then agreed to refund us. We were looking so forward to the hot tub and to have to chase for it to be fixed and then put up a fight to get a refund wasn't the greatest experience. Also the outside balcony light didn't work, we had to get maintenance to come and fix it, the shower was Luke warm, had to get maintenance to come and fix it. The room smelt like damp and old the entire time, had to leave the door open to get fresh air. Its not worth the money the rooms, as they are plain, nothing special about them. The shower needs a good scrub and needs an air vent too as the smell isn't great. We then on our last day were told that our airport transfer was booked for 18:50 so we sat waiting since 1pm in the hotel. We were waiting where we were told to wait for the shuttle at 18:20 so 30 minutes before arrival. eventually at 19:10 I phoned to asked where our shuttle was and then to be told miss communication, the shuttle was there that you were supposed to get on but was early. they didn't tell us, or ask us , they just left us. So we had to get a taxi to the airport in which yes we got a refund, but it's not a great way to end a holiday and be stressed not being picked up as arranged. The Hotel itself is a great location, the food is amazing, they need to work on there cocktails as its poured from a carton of juice rather than an actual cocktail. We couldn't experience the pool as was too cold the weather, and the hot tub next the pool was freezing so dont think was working.
