Excellent customer service, great location and good apartment. Any questions or query were dealt with in a friendly manner. We felt very welcome, we had issues with flights and they kindly let us stay an extra night at a discounted rate. We was allowed an hour later check out time. The apartment was in the heart of the town and not far from anything. They had a cafe that opens from 8.30-4pm where you can buy breakfast. I did not use the pool but my friends did and they enjoyed it and if you ask at reception they provide pool towels. We had a 2 bed apartment but it was opposite the lift so it got noisy at times and had to wear earplugs. There is no bathroom fan so condensation would form in the ceiling and drip water and made the bathroom floor wet in the accessible shower, this would be the only hazard that needs improving. There was a balcony where you can just about see the marine front but it was nice to have one. The rooms was made every day and bins emptied. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back here again.

We have just returned from a week holiday at this hotel as a couple with a young 7 month old baby. The hotel is lovely and we really liked the pool and outside bar area. There were plenty of sun-beds and never too busy which was great for our little girl to have a crawl around. The drinks were good but on the pricey side when compared to other places close by. I would say the clientele was mainly couples but with a young baby it was a really great hotel. All the staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. I see on previous reviews about rude members of staff but we had the opposite experience and found all the staff lovely! The hotel is in a great location right on the marina with a number of bars and restaurants very close by. We also walked to the beach one day which was a nice cove if you turn left out the hotel you can walk along a coastal path to a bit of a quieter beach which was lovely. We had a sea view room which was nice- slightly small with the travel cot up but plenty of room for what we needed. Breakfast was nice with lots of selection- previous reviews have said about the breakfast being cold but we didn’t have this problem. Can’t comment on food in the evening as we stayed in bed and breakfast basis and went out for evening meals to the plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Overall we would recommend this hotel and thank all the staff for a lovely first holiday away with our baby :-)

This was my fifth stay in eight years at the usually brilliant Simbad. The staff are all lovely, particularly restaurant staff and cleaners. The breakfast buffet is extensive, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is modern and clean and the view is incredible. We have kept coming back - including a visit with 15 friends last year for a special birthday - because everything has always been great. Until now. It’s no exaggeration to say our holiday was ruined this year and we will think twice about returning again. The only issue is the bizarre pool policy that seems to allow countless non-residents to use the facility whenever they wish, despite a sign saying the pool area is exclusively for the use of guests only. What should be an oasis of calm and restfulness looking out over the beautiful Talamanca bay is now ruined by scores of people who aren’t staying at the hotel using the pool. In a response to another review complaining about this, the hotel director replied seeming to imply there’s nothing they can do about it as the pool is on public land. Maybe something there is lost in translation - I don’t see why someone couldn’t operate an entrance gate to control numbers and noise. The problem was bad during the day while we were there, but particularly awful during the afternoon/evening from about 4-8pm. The pool used to close at 6pm, which seemed odd but maybe this helped, as it’s now open well past 8pm. I appreciate this complaint may sound petty or entitled, but I simply think that the pool should be for the use of residents only, in line with any other hotel I’ve stayed in all over the world. Unfortunately the current situation sees people turning up in droves, failing to use the showers and jumping straight in the pool. I twice saw babies with their nappies being taken off on sun loungers then put into swimming attire without swim nappies, then going straight into the pool. The noise level from children screaming, shouting and repeatedly jumping into the pool is totally unacceptable and not only punctuates the calm around the pool area but also across the front of the whole hotel, including the lovely bar and balconies. The pool area capacity is stated as 40 - yesterday evening I counted 32 non residents, the day before there was 22 children in the pool. You can see from the website it’s a very small pool area. At one point this meant there wasn’t enough loungers for residents and being around the pool was akin to being at a kids club throughout the evening. This isn’t the usual and understandable sound of a few children playing in a swimming pool on holiday, it’s like a whole classroom of children all set loose at the same time There was even a visible divide with residents at one end of the area, as far away from the noise as possible, and everyone else at the other end. Just returned from the El Hotel Pacha, we travelled as 2 couples in our late 30s/ early 40s. we had an amazing stay, the whole experience was great was well worth using the guest vip at Pacha we went both nights we also used the Destino beach club which was amazing, Marcel was very attentive and provided excellent customer service nothing was to much trouble, we even had a nice touch of a bottle of cava for my husbands 40th, we will certainly back. rooms nice and clean, breakfast was tasty! perfect location just over 1km walk to Ibiza town.

Great location. Lovely and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bathroom situation took a bit of getting used to...toilet is seperate from the shower. Staff were accommodating when they gave us a double room instead of a twin and they changed it immediately. Our only disappointment was the Rooftop pool area and bar, was advertised in the lifts as open but it wasn't after the first day we got there. There was no Indication, when we booked that this area was closing. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

This aparthotel is in a great location. Beach on doorstep and 15 mins walk to the old town. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The shower is amazing with great pressure. If you’re a light sleeper in any way, don’t stay here as the walls are paper thin. You can hear the toilet flushing in the room above and furniture moving from rooms beside and above. There is also a large space under the room door so you can hear a whisper when people are passing by on the corridor.

We had 2 nights here on way to Formentera. We had a seaview room with a balcony which was amazing. Almost on the beach, fantastic views. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the food. Staff were friendly and rooms were spotless. Perfectly situated for restaurants and bars and some very good bakery/ cafes where we got breakfast just a couple of roads away. A 15 min walk away from centre and the castle, so perfect! Given hotel a 4* rather than a 5* as it is a little tired and worn in places but would definitely stay here again.

The service is excellent, as are the facilities. They also give you the possibility, the day you leave, to spend the whole day in the hotel and take a shower before leaving (they provide you with towels, shampoo...). The location is good, it is not the center of Ibiza but it is very close to Cala Gracioneta and Cala Saladeta, supermarkets and all kinds of services.

This hotel is in the perfect location, if you’re looking for a beach experience, it has its own private entrance to the beach, the rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday thoroughly. Definitely encourage one to add the breakfast and dinner option to their bookings, as they have a large variety of dishes to pick from, buffet style, and they change the menu intermittently. Would definitely stay again

The best hotel i have ever stayed. Choose all-inclusive option. The pool is spacious and the hotel ambiance is rather chill and relaxing, which I really liked. The staffs are very attentive. There's a drinking water station/purifier at every floor and you can refill the water bottle - this was the best part of the stay. Had an amazing time!! Highly recommended.
