One of my clients stayed here and loved every moment. The history of the hotel is impressive, owned at one time by Napoleon, to witch trials being held on the grounds. The area is quiet and the staff is friendly and the food is delectable, this was one of the only facilities that served a Schwarzwalder Kirsch torte (this is not an American German Chocolate cake). The hotel swimming pool is approximately 4 feet deep and is not heated. It is extremely refreshing. The biggest downfall that my client stated was that one could not park ones car near the rooms but one could drive within the castle walls to drop off ones luggage. Parking is free at a lot just across the moat bridge. There is also little cafe just outside the walls. Overall this would be a location that my client would love to go back to.

Ich war vor 10 Jahren dienstlich häufig hier, deshalb habe ich jetzt meine Mutter eingeladen. Samt Besuch Restaurant. Das Zimmer war abgelebt. Schlimm das Restaurant. Erstens durfte unser kleiner Hund nicht mit. Ist okay, da dessen Mitreise aber bekannt war, muss dies kommuniziert werden. Den somit war er in der Fremde allein und dies wäre ein Ausschlussargument gewesen. Der Service war schlecht. Die Karte wurde noch vor der Bestellung weggeräumt. Getränke würden spät serviert. Wir sollten einstweilen zum Buffet gehen. Leider waren nur noch ein Behälter mit Gurke und Kraut vom " Buffet" befüllt. Der Wels war noch roh. Ein flexibles Tauschen der Beilage war nicht möglich. Der Kartoffelsalat wurde scheinbar Stunden vorher bereits abgefüllt. Ich weiss nicht was hier passiert ist, aber nie wieder. Das ist nicht mehr die Westerburg meiner Erinnerung. Ich rate dringend ab!

Flotte værelser, flot hotel.
Stort værelse, dejligt med ordentligt plads det var ikke svært at finde plads til min yogamåtte. Det var også rart med to lænestole og lille køleskab. God størrelse pool, og to sauna med forskellige varmegrader. Meget lille gym, men der var de mest nødvendige ting. Morgenmad var god men aftensmad var virkelig ringe. Deres kok var syg så der var vikar på og han lavede kun buffet og det var tør og kedelig mad. Der er absolut ingen mulighed for at købe dagligvarer i nærheden.

Ett hotell utan hiss. Släpa väskor i många trappor. Stora men omoderna rum. Restaurangen stänger tidigt och det finns inga alternativ.

Nettes Hotel, jedoch nicht im Sommer (bei 30Grad)
Schön gelegen, sehr nostalgisch! Restaurant hat eine sehr gute Küche. Beim Frühstück hätte ich mir mehr lieb zum Detail gewünscht (Tischdecke, Deko), war etwas nüchtern
Zimmer sind ohne Klimaanlage-bei 30 Grad und einem Biotop vor dem Fenster (Mückenalarm) konnte man natürlich kein Fenster über Nacht geöffnet lassen…Sonst war es aber schon sehr angenehm!
