Little gem
Fantastic service beautiful setting handy location for trip into Brighton Sunday
Only down side had to duck to get in shower... But don't let that put you off... Stay was great room great service amazing

Cracking little pub, restaurant and B&B.
This was a fantastic place to stay and unwind after work. My room was spotless, lovely bathroom and a great restaurant and bar to enjoy. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Teaghan who was ever so helpful and professional. Thanks guys, see you again soon I hope.

Plein de charme
Cette ancienne auberge de la fin du 16ème Siècle possède un charme indéniable mis en valeur par une rénovation de qualité. Mais qui dit 16ème Siècle dit également certaines contraintes comme un plafond bas dans certaines chambres, insonorisation moyenne. L'absence de climatisation entraine également une atmosphère chaude les rares jours de canicule dans cette région.
Le service est de qualité et la restauration correcte.
Pas de parking sur le site de l'auberge mais nous avons reussi à nous garer dans les rues adjacentes.
Bref cet hebergement est fait pour vous si vous recherchez une âme, un caractère authentique quitte à faire quelques petites concessions sur le confort moderne proposé par les groupes hotelliers sans charme.

Nice find
Excellent little pub, very friendly staff. Good choice of food and drinks. I was leaving early before breakfast so was left a packed lunch in a fridge on the landing. Only downside is the lack of parking.

Nice place but wouldn't stay again
Lovely room and staff very friendly and attentive. Nice breakfast included too. Wouldn't stay again as we couldn't sleep until 1am at least each night as we could hear everything from the bar and then guests above us once they moved upstairs.

I had an excellent stay at The Horse Inn. The host was very welcoming, and the room was clean and tastefully furnished. My only criticism was that it could have been warmer, and there was no plug to the sink. The breakfasts were superb.
