Four Points by Sheraton Huntsville Airport

We had planned to spend one night here before a 6:15 am flight, but a once in a lifetime winter storm resulted in a four night stay. The hotel has a great staff, comfortable and quiet rooms, and a good location for airport travelers. I cannot compliment the staff enough during our stay. One thing that guests should be aware of, the hotel restaurant is only open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm due to covid. I had turned in my rental car, so leaving the property for a meal was limited. There were some prepared breakfast items at the front desk. The only other food options is in the concourse food court which is inside the secure area of the airport. A helpful TSA employee suggested we ask for a gate pass from our airline which we did. You can also go through security if you have a boarding pass. The hotel restaurant was good, but we were looking for a little variety since we were stranded for four days. This hotel is a great option if you have an early morning flight and wish to stay at the airport.

AnJalesa at the front desk was wonderful! From the moment I checked in, she made the experience seamless and welcoming. Her professionalism and warm demeanor made me feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, offering helpful recommendations and quickly addressing any questions I had. It’s clear that she takes great pride in providing exceptional customer service. Thanks to AnJalesa, my stay at Hilton was even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Deontay McDonald made our stay a breeze and helped us with all our needs the entire stay. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and knew all the activities the hotel and Bridgestreet had to offer. Will visit again and recommend to friends and family.

We were in town for my mother-in-law’s funeral and opted to stay at the Marriott. I travel frequently for my job and expected this location to meet the usual standards. Unfortunately it did not and I was thankful we were only there one night. Check-in was interesting as the frazzled staff seemed insufficiently trained to handle the computer system or provide a warm welcome to guests (not just us but the other encounters I witnessed). Granted it was hot outside, but our room was stuffy and humid. The A/C in this aging facility was barely putting out any cool air and it was positioned where the vents would not adequately ventilate the room. I called the front desk and was told someone would come up to see what could be done, but no one came. My husband and I had poor sleep because we were so uncomfortable. The next morning, the front desk was unattended when we went down to checkout. I dropped our keys in the designated place but really wanted to just give some feedback to them so I waited around long enough to know that staff were non-existent or elsewhere. I feel our negative experience reflects on management as it is their job to run a properly functioning hotel. I can’t blame the inexperienced staff. On a positive note, the room was clean and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom.

I was excited to try my first stay at a Hilton Garden Inn in Huntsville. Unfortunately, it will be my only stay at this hotel. Due to my Diamond Member status, I was offered a free upgrade to my room before I arrived! I was excited about it because it never happened before. However, my “upgrade” came with a broken refrigerator and inoperable jacuzzi! And when traveling with items needing to be kept cold, this was unacceptable. The jacuzzi was the “upgrade” but I never got a chance to utilize it. I hoped that by twisting the dials, checking the plugs, and wishing a little bit, that the fridge would be working when I returned from dinner….. it didn’t work. I knew calling the front desk was going to be fun. (Sarcasm!) Approximately 5 minutes earlier, I walked in the front door after dinner and saw the front desk employee sitting on her chair between the office and front desk looking like she couldn’t wait to go home. When I approached the desk, and stood there for a minute, she looked up and I was greeted with a look of “why are you bothering me!” I asked for two waters, which was then met with resentment, because she had to get up (I feel like). I was then met with an interrogation about the waters, and if I had gotten some before at check-in. The whole situation was rude and uncalled for. When I called Michelle at the front desk to talk about the fridge as I now knew it wasn’t working at all, I could tell that I was bothering her (once again). I told her the problem and she stated she would TRY and find someone to fix it. She also asked if it was plugged in… lol. Why would it NOT be plugged in? I then requested a room change, but she said she would find someone first. I told her this was supposed to be an “upgrade” to my original room and that was met with a “whatever sigh” and “I’ll call you back.” I was not pleased with the interaction as I’m sure no one would be. Approximately ten minutes later I received a phone call that no one could be found and I would get a new room. (I believe my original room - No upgrade). “Just come down and I’ll get you new key cards.” When I went to the front desk for the new key cards, I waited patiently off to the side as she dealt with another customer. As she was working she looked over to the side, saw me (and recognized me from the early interaction), rolled her eyes and said “here you go” with an attitude. Again, like I was bothering her. I finally got to my new room, and was able to “relax.” Other issues in this room included the bathroom was dirty, their were reddish-brown stains near the trash can and on the wall (you make up your own mind on that substance), the shower was sub-par with weak pressure, and the light to the thermostat wouldn’t dim. (I finally removed the whole thing from the wall at 0400). The entire stay wasn’t worth it. From the stay itself to the employees, I really expected more from Hilton. Save your points and your money! I’d like mine back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and pleasant, especially the very nice lady at breakfast. The room was recently renovated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. My wife and I were there for the Lauren Daigle concert at the Orion Amphitheater. It is a close walk from the hotel, and definitely the way to go. The walk is a direct line, well lit, and there were plenty of other people around. After we got back to our room we noticed that 45 minutes later cars were still backed up, trying to leave the venue. This is now our place to stay in Huntsville!
