The bathroom in the room smelled very bad, so I sprayed a lot of air freshener to cover it up before going in! I booked a room for 4 people, but there was an extra charge for children. I don’t recommend it!

Ctrip is too unreliable to book accommodation in Male. When I checked, it was included in the airport transfer, but when I got to the B&B, the owner said it was not included, and charged an extra child fee of $34 including tax.
Moreover, the two rooms were along the street, and it was very noisy. I basically didn't sleep all night. Male is a South Asian city, very ordinary, I suggest you avoid it

Very warm and thoughtful front desk service, willing to use translation software to communicate with us, help us contact the island for the next day, and help us call a taxi at a reasonable price. The hotel is right on the beach and is a good choice for transit.

A homestay. The room is small and newly decorated. The breakfast is simple and clean. The price is more reasonable than the domestic tourist homestays. The one in Pingtan Island, Fujian is really a pit.
