As I was traveling alone, I was always a little apprehensive about where I would stay. However, they were so welcoming and helpful that I felt right at home. I felt 100% safe and supported the entire time with the tips I received regarding the tours and the city itself. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very complete, in addition to being located in a very quiet part of the city, which I really liked, despite not being so close to the central part of the city. However, it was easy to walk the route. There is hot water in the shower and thick covers on the bed because of the cold. And to top it off, there is an incredible view of the Cordillera Blanca from the hostel's terrace, where we can see many of the snowy mountains that make up the mountain range.

Very good accommodation, with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The service from Scheler and his team is excellent, they are all very friendly and helpful. I also participated in some group tours organized by him and rented equipment, I recommend it to anyone looking for a hostel in Huaraz.

I highly recommend this hotel because I consider that it has everything you need to make your stay pleasant at an affordable and fair cost. It has hot water, cable TV, wifi, clean and cozy rooms, etc. It also has a beautiful view from the roof or from the dining room. In addition, the members of the hotel make you feel confident and at home. Scheler is a great person, he and his family treat you as if you were part of them.
