Hampton by Hilton Huangshan Scenic Area South Gate

I stayed for two nights, and the room was spacious and clean. The only issue was a bad smell from the shower, which went away after I flushed it with the showerhead. The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating; they even gave my little one a toy when they saw him. There were also family-friendly activities in the lobby, like making fish lanterns, which was great for keeping the kids entertained when it rained. The housekeeping auntie was so helpful, bringing a bed rail for my baby. I told her I could set it up myself, but she kept apologizing for the inconvenience. Everyone seemed so kind. The hotel is conveniently located opposite the Nandaemun Transfer Center, just a short walk across the skybridge. The first day, the weather was fantastic, and I even managed to get a photo of the 'Welcoming Pine' (Yingkesong) ✌️. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of both Western and Chinese dishes. However, an extra 88 RMB per person for exceeding the guest limit felt a bit pricey. On the second night, it rained, so we decided not to go into town for dinner. We spotted a restaurant right next door that had just opened two days prior. We went in to try it out, and wow! It was absolutely delicious! The best part was that everything was freshly cooked, not pre-made, and it was so much better than the Huizhifu restaurant we ate at for lunch! Highly recommend it! We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed our meals!

This hotel is located very close to Huangshan South Gate, just a few minutes' walk from the transfer center. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's also conveniently located near the highway exit, making it perfect for self-driving travelers with ample parking available. The hotel facilities are new and complete, with spacious and bright rooms, and a clean and tidy environment. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, combining both Chinese and Western styles.

This is a newly opened hotel, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. I stayed for two nights. The hotel is very close to the transfer center, just a few minutes' walk away. There's also a newly opened restaurant right outside the hotel with an open kitchen, which looked very clean, and the food was delicious.

Just a 5-minute walk from Namdaemun Transfer Center! Excellent location. There are many great food options nearby, and the parking lot has charging stations for electric vehicles, both fast and slow chargers, so EV owners can rest assured. The lobby is very nice, and the service attitude is good too.

Opened last year, this hotel is very quiet and clean, making for a comfortable stay. It's just 100 meters from the train station, which is super convenient for getting around, whether you're heading out to eat or catching a bus to go hiking.

Before check-in, customer service proactively called and added me on WeChat, providing directions. The butler was prompt and attentive, informing me of all the check-in procedures. The environment was very clean and tidy, and each room number sign featured a scenic spot from Huangshan. It's extremely close to the transfer center, and if you drive, you can park for free after checking out and heading up the mountain. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. All the customer service staff were very friendly. Upon check-in, they gave us cute fridge magnets. During our stay, there were many family-friendly activities like making fish lanterns, a dialect quiz, and calligraphy to pass the time. Staff would often come by to ask if the kids needed help and offered other small gifts. The children were very happy. When we left, they even gave us a gift bag with Huizhou local specialties. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, right off the highway if you take a left turn. It's also convenient for the South Gate Transfer Center, and there's parking available at the hotel. The lobby scent was a bit too strong for my liking; I'd suggest making it lighter. The surrounding area has plenty of amenities, making it very friendly for self-driving tourists.

The room was absolutely satisfactory, with a great location and excellent service. I highly recommend staying here. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic.

As always, I chose to stay at Hampton. This particular hotel is very new and, most importantly, it's very close to the mountain entrance, just a 10-15 minute walk. The room size is impressively large, which is worth noting – for this price point in Huangshan, it's really excellent. The front desk service was great; they were very warm, enthusiastic, and patient. The breakfast had a good variety of options, and the room hygiene was spotless. Highly recommend staying here.
