This time Chengkan was very satisfied with a trip. I arrived here at night and just in time for the fireworks light show. The boss took us to the attractions very enthusiastically. The homestay was very close in the past. Our room type has a small yard. I wake up in the morning and open the automatic curtains. You can see the blue sky and white clouds on the bed... Very recommended a homestay

The shower water was excellent, the perfect temperature, with plenty of water, and no waiting. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly. The room was also very comfortable, with convenient and clean living facilities. The bamboo shoot noodles for breakfast were also very appetizing. GGuest UserShuishongshi Shanfang Hotel is a unique hotel with a strong artistic flair. Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!

BBingyuxingchenHighly, highly recommend! This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in, not just for its thoughtful service, but also for its proactive and highly professional, personalized approach.
The hotel's location is exceptional, very close to Bright Summit and prime spots for sunrise and sunset viewing, and it's on the main route to other popular attractions. The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, specifically catering to hikers. Plus, they offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for guests to wear for photos. They also provide complimentary down jackets for use in the guest rooms.
The service, though, is what truly stands out—it's incredibly attentive! And all the services are proactively offered, anticipating guests' needs, which completely redefined my understanding of hotel room service. We were able to check in several hours early, saving us from lugging our luggage up the mountain. They also gave us very clear recommendations for our Huangshan itinerary! Seeing an extra child in our room, they proactively brought extra toiletries. They also reminded us multiple times about sunset times, etc. After we finished exploring for the day and returned to the hotel... that's when the real magic happened—this service truly exceeded my expectations. First, we were invited to watch a performance arranged by the hotel, then offered orange juice, followed by foot soak packets delivered to our room, and even a 20-minute free massage chair session. Isn't this exactly what we needed after a full day of strenuous hiking? A little while later, presumably after we finished our foot soaks, fresh fruit was delivered directly to our door! Did we think it was over? No, local specialty snacks were also brought to us! The next day, even after we had checked out and were about to leave, they offered milk tea and bottled water, all to keep us hydrated during our climb. This service is truly incredibly thoughtful. The key is that all of this was proactively offered by them. Before staying at this Baiyun Hotel, I honestly had no idea service could be this good! It's absolutely amazing! Huangshan is beautiful, and I'll definitely be back, and I'll be staying here again next time.

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

GGuest UserThis stay really exceeded my expectations! I booked this place after seeing the recommendation in a book before the holiday. Through communication, I felt that the boss was very nice. He would patiently help me read the guide and give thoughtful suggestions on attractions and meals. The homestay is quiet and comfortable, the room is exquisitely decorated and warm, the bedding is soft and clean, and it is so comfortable to sleep~ The landlady is warm and thoughtful, and prepared local specialty snacks for us. The meals cooked at home are also very delicious, especially the fried meat with fresh bamboo shoots, which is super delicious. We also provided pick-up and drop-off services for our mountain climbing the next day. In the evening, we wanted to buy things at the entrance of the scenic spot. In order not to let us get scammed, we drove ourselves to take a detour to buy. When we left, we also took us to a delicious restaurant where locals go. The female boss really paid full marks for details. I strongly recommend it to friends who come to Huangshan to relax. I will definitely come again on my next trip❤️

WWenzizaifeiXihai Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! I'd always thought hotels on Huangshan were expensive with limited amenities, but I managed to snag a presale deal: one night on the mountain and one off for just over 800 yuan. So, my best friend and I decided to go see the sunrise. Xihai's location is excellent, right at the intersection of Danxia Peak, West Sea Grand Canyon, and Bright Summit, making it convenient to get anywhere. The hotel on the mountain provides complimentary down jackets and flashlights, which is a huge bonus for hiking and watching the sunrise – you can pack one less bulky item. On our first day, it was cloudy, and the hotel concierge said there was a 55% chance of seeing the sunset. We actually got lucky and witnessed a stunning sunset from Danxia Peak! The next day was perfectly clear, and in the morning, the hotel organized a sunrise viewing for guests. We saw the sunrise from Mushroom Pavilion – truly amazing luck! A special shout-out to the hotel's breakfast as well. To enjoy such a rich and delicious breakfast on the mountain is a rare treat.

In the morning, the hotel provides a convenient shuttle to the transfer point for the Xi'aoyao Stream scenic area bus. Upon opening the room door, I discovered we'd been upgraded to a family room! Although it was just my mother and me, it felt very thoughtful. The room layout was well-designed, with new facilities, a large projector screen, and a smart voice system, all showcasing high-tech features. On the second day, we were granted a late check-out until 2 PM, which was very comfortable for my mother to rest. The room faced south, so it was bright and sunny. When I couldn't reach my mother by phone, I contacted the hotel, and they kindly sent someone to check on her. The service was superb; we truly felt at home. Highly recommended.
