It belongs to a family-style hot spring hotel. The boss’s wife greeted us very kindly. Because the double room originally booked was a bit problematic, the boss immediately helped us upgrade to a triple room without saying anything. The hot spring bath is dark black, and the hot water is added. You can adjust it yourself. It’s warm, you can soak in the hot spring comfortably in the room, the bed is moderately hard and comfortable, breakfast Chinese dishes, pumpkin porridge, freshly brewed coffee and soy milk, pure hot spring, no extra leisure facilities~

The equipment should be considered the most perfect in the local area. The original purchase of the Japanese-based Antong Hot Spring Hemu Building should be a major selling point. The hotel is also a major feature on the street Yexi Hot Spring. Unfortunately, the hotel does not seem to be good at selling, only cares about the self-built SPA area and soup house, catering. Such a business model, In fact, it is the same mistake that redirects most Taiwanese hot springs [weight is not heavy]. Especially regrettable, the lack of management inside the hotel has caused me to experience the arbitrary food, noise, and various disorders with mobile phones in the hot spring season. In the long run, intimidating high-quality tourists, Unfavorable development of Antong Hot Springs. If you can make a determination to improve the hotel hardware design and location, there should be opportunities to revitalize.

The room is very large and the environment is great, surrounded by mountains to relax! The service staff will call before check-in to ask if they need pick-up and meals. The cooperative taxi will arrive early and call to inform. You can get on the bus directly when you arrive at the station. It is very intimate!

It is a rare hotel in Taiwan to have a three-story water park. You can take a bath, a children's water play area, a standard swimming pool, and an open-air bath. The owner of the homestay is very attentive. I personally like the design style of the room. At first glance, it feels very clean and comfortable. It is suitable for couples or young couples. The iron-containing soup is very distinctive. There is no children’s facilities and no laundry room. The breakfast is well-matched. It’s healthy, but I personally don’t like the sweet potato and egg sandwiches. I don’t know if breakfast is different every day. There are not a few rooms in the hotel, so the parking lot is very small. , Very close to Ruisui Ranch, there is a whole family about 200 meters away! Why only took pictures of the yard...🤣

In May, our square public bath was retired, moving into history. Many were in disbelief, even thinking it was just an internet rumor. Thoughtful guests still called to ask and share their concerns. Next to retire was the semi-open-air hot spring bathhouse. We knew that many of our loyal friends came to Ruixiong just for this experience. Due to the color and transparency of the hot springs, there are often misunderstandings. When it first emerges from the earth, the spring water is clear and colorless. However, after a brief moment of oxidation, it transforms into a golden hue, known as the “Golden Spring.” This water, with its high mineral content, crystallizes easily (calcium carbonate being the main component), and the color deepens as the water temperature increases. With this unique nature, Ruixiong has upheld the use of the original spring water for the past 20 years.

KkohKengLocation- near to Hualien station about 5-8mins walk. U won’t miss the hotel as it is painted a bright yellow. You can spot it from far!
Food- Complimentary ice cream, coffee and juices are avail 24hrs. Snacks - crackers, tea jelly are avail from 3-8pm. Breakfast and supper are complimentary. Now this is really unexpected. Breakfast consists of meat, vegs, eggs. Chinese, western and veg options. Supper is lighter eg porridge rice curry potato and eggs vegs. Cocktail is avail and yes, complimentary too. Also fruits.
Service- I was at first skeptical. To name a Hotel kindness will imply the hotel embraces the kindness value. True to its name, staff are polite and kind and goes out to help guests. U don’t need a password to log into wifi, I haven’t been to a hotel with complimentary breakfast and supper. I was suprised that the hotel is painted bright yellow and I realise it helps guests to locate the hotel as all other buildings are all grey and black and the yellow really lights up the area. I find it a thoughtful gesture.
Room- Room is big. They gave me two queen size bed for three pax. There is also a bathtub. Amenities are provided. Oh yes, complimentary laundry service with washing powder provider. Now isn’t this thoughtful and kind and really take care of the guests esp those traveling with kids. Water refill is available at each floor next to the lift.
Would definitely stay in the hotel if I go to Hualien again and yes, would love to stay in kindness hotel in different parts of Taipei too!

AAnonymous UserFabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them.
As the BnB is up on the mountain, it’s easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host!
The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds.
A good place for a retreat.

GGL64Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

GGuest UserVery clean, shower and toilet inside and outside the room. Bed are big enough and comfortable. Breakfast is provided! Toast, ham, cheese and various spreads. The crowd is very different from any hostel I stayed before, many middle age people and even kids!! So might not be the perfect place for you if you want to make friends. Everyone I talked to, from the staff to the guest was extremely nice!
At the reception you can get information to visit the taroko gorge.

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Xinxin Noodle House and 5 minutes to Dongdaemun Night Market. There is no breakfast attached to the B&B, but there are many delicious restaurants nearby.
If you arrive early in the afternoon, you can park in the parking lot of Dongdaemun Night Market (free)
The dog in the B&B is very cute and coquettish. I stayed for another 2 nights. The boss reminded me that there is a washing machine upstairs that you can use for free. It dried in the sun overnight. It is a different washing machine than the one used to clean the bed sheets in the room. This is my second time here. I will consider this place next time!

1. This time I stayed in a deluxe sea view suite on the 8th floor with a separate bathtub facing the sea. Unfortunately, the weather was bad.
2. There is a sauna on the 8th floor, which is small and exquisite.
3. Personally, I think the bed is a bit soft, but I can sleep well.
4. There are no supplies in the room, but they are provided free of charge at the counter on the first floor (but there are basic shower gel/shampoo/hand soap)
5. There are water dispensers on each floor and you need to use them by yourself.
6. The room TV and mobile phone can directly cast the screen

2. About 7 minutes from Dongdaemun Night Market

The hotel is not in a busy area, there is no convenience store (FamilyMart vending machine) downstairs, and there are only a few small restaurants nearby.
The advantage is that it is quiet at night, but the disadvantage is that you need to have transportation when going out.

WWayneHXLWe got upgraded to a bigger quad room with windows for free, which was very nice.
Room: The room space may be small if you have many luggages, but there's no complaining at this price range because it's a steal! You can save some space if you bring your luggage to your bedside. An electricity outlet can be found on every bed, which is unquestionably very convenient. Cups, teabags, hairdryer, and slippers are provided.
Bathroom: The bathroom is clean, and it is a private bathroom inside the room (not shared bathroom outside the room!). Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided as well.
Public area: There is a public area (like a kitchen) and an outdoor sitting area on the ground floor where you can make your own coffee or milk tea (which are provided there). Water dispenser can also be found there. There's a friendly (wild) cat too!
Service: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Luggage storage: If you're looking to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out, your luggage will just be stored on the corridor beside the counter with no safety other than ”name labels”.
Safety: Password will be required for entry into the inn after certain time at night.
Location: The inn is located close to the bus station, but some walking may be needed (which won't take long unless you carry big luggages). Convenience stores and some restaurants can be found within walking distance from the inn.

天天下美景悠遊The design of this hotel is very creative and unique in the industry. It is based on foreign prisons. It is a trendy creative design. The design is mainly for comfort and use, and it cannot be the same as ordinary hotels. . Therefore, the price is actually the main one, and it is worth less than 1,000 yuan. . The check-in is designed automatically, and the service is contacted by telephone or Line, and everything is self-service. . I have never seen any service staff in the hotel since I entered and exited, which is really a unique feature.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
