Beautiful and cozy. Enjoyed the Roman Bath in the cooler weather. Clean. Many amenities including game room. Some rooms are a long walk from everything else.

We had a spectacular time visiting! The property was clean and beautiful and everyone we talked with was attentive and kind. The golf course, although a little chilly was well maintained and we had a great day on and off the course. The half way house was closed, but the grille was open and ready to serve drinks! We ate at Gatsby’s and the atrium (2x lunch and 2x breakfast) all wonderful experiences. Breakfast service was a little slow, but otherwise great! The chop house, although separate from resort was just ok. The service was lacking a little, but the food was good. Quite a difference from the resort restaurants. They also have a dress code, which no one follows which I always find to be annoying that they don’t in-force it. When paying $200+ for a dinner and celebrating a special occasion I don’t want to look at someone in sweatpants and a hoodie for the night. The wine bar at the resort was the place to be, Paul was amazing and so friendly. We really enjoyed talking with him, he’s a superstar for sure! He definitely went above and beyond to make our experience special! Last, we had a double room with two queen beds, they were definitely fulls not queens ( all they had available when booking) Definitely going for a king next time. Lesson learned ! We had such a lovely time and will certainly return!

The staff were all friendly and helpful! The gym was huge with a lot of great equipment. We LOVED the cigar bar! Watched a baseball game there. I had an Amazing massage at the spa and went in the sauna. Dinner at Gatsby's was delicious! The steak was great! Great place to spend a romantic night.

I travel 280 days a year for work. I have high expectations and even higher standards due to this. When I hear "luxurious resort" my mind tends to lead and think of the other major luxury brands. I have never been more offended to be staying somewhere, that made me feel less valued. From unauthentic staff, to low quality service that tends to cater more to the locals, cob webs in public areas, uncomfortable mattress and small bathroom. None of these made me feel that I got value for what I paid for. Several couples that we were with felt the same issues. Why did I not mention my issues and voice my concerns? As previously mentioned I felt like it would fall on deaf ears. It's asinine given the rate this "resort" feels that they are comfortable charging it.

The wife and I took an Us trip to relax and it was everything we hoped for. The room was great, bed extremely comfortable, staff was friendly, food was outstanding. Although not apart of the resort, recommend Chop House. It’s in the same parking lot. Played a round a golf, very challenging course, but gorgeous. Take a trip and opt for a massage. But be sure to schedule your spouses during your golf “appointment.”

Good sized rooms, very comfortable bedding. Small-ish bathrooms. Amazing restaurants. The Roman Bath was very relaxing, although the floors were wet and very slippery. My room had a great patio area, but no outdoor lighting. Some firepits would be nice for the chilly nights.

Stayed two nights in October, one night in a king room with just my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary, then picked up the kids (5 & 9) and stayed in a two queen room with a pull out couch. The Great - The property is really beautiful, kept up, and the amenities are even better. As many have said the Roman Bath is awesome. We came on a week when the high temp was low 60's so lounging in a 90 degree pool felt awesome. The sports complex was also very nice. Three indoor tennis courts or pickleball courts, a racquetball court, outdoor basketball, and ping pong, pool, and some free arcade games in the lounge area. There is also three total pools on the property, the Roman Bath, another nice outdoor pool, and an indoor lap pool, all of which were clean and enjoyed by the whole family. It looked like the golf, restaurants, bar, and the cigar room were popular with a lot of people but we didn't use any of those amenities. There really was plenty to do, the only thing my wife and I mentioned would have been nice is if there were some sort of walking path you could walk around the property or golf courses, but that's just us. Staff all seemed great. Wherever I turned there seemed to be someone on staff working, and every encounter I had with one of them was pleasant throughout my stay. The Not So Great - The king room we stayed in was pretty small, like turn your body to walk past your spouse to get to the bathroom small. The two queen with the couch was much bigger, it even had a table for us to sit at which was very nice. Each room had nice robes in it. Our first night we put them on and they felt great, unfortunately my wife put her hand in the pocket of her robe and pulled out some used tissues from the last person, so that made the robes WAY less awesome and kind of made us question the cleanliness of the room. I didn't notice any other cleanliness issues however. Only other issue was the pull out bed on the couch. I'm not sure how I drew the short straw to sleep on that but it felt like there was nothing separating the bed springs from the bed sheet. I could feel every spring on my body and that made for a rough night of sleep. General Tips - I read a previous review on here that the summer gets busy and to come in October for a smaller crowd. I can confirm that there didn't seem to be that many people there. There was barely anyone using the pools at any time (again, it's October) but even the sports complex wasn't bad. I could see it being a problem in the summer though if you wanted to play tennis but people had already signed up to use the courts ahead of you. The Resort does provide all sports equipment which was nice, even smaller racquets for the kiddos. There are plenty of restaurants and a Target/Meijer just a couple miles away if you forget something or if you prefer to not use the Resort's restaurants. Overall, I really enjoyed the Grand Resort as both a place to celebrate a couple's getaway AND as a place to take the family.

Great rooms and amenities, exceptionally clean and top notch. The Roman Bath & pool were great. The lobby bar has a great atmosphere and service. We topped the night off with a trip to the cigar lounge. It was the nicest one I have ever seen.
