Come experience a typical Natal Midlands comfy and cosy guest house. Lots of personal touches and a beautiful location right on the Lion's river make it one of the best stays in the area.

Tanya is an exceptional host. She together with her husband and staff went the extra mile to make us feel at home and comfortable. The breakfasts were very creative, wholesome and delicious. I left feeling relaxed, reenergized and happy. It was everything and more of what I was hoping for to have a relaxing weekend.

We had the most amazing weekend at Hawklee Country house. The hosts Tanya and Shaun were incredible. Our room was so comfortable and cosy. The food was delicious and so well presented. We had a picnic arranged for us. It was delicious and so well put together. Right down to wet cloths to wipe our hands on. Every need was attended to, and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a relaxing special time away, Hawklee Country House is well worth a visit.

Tanya and Sean were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was excellent. A beautiful ambience close to Nottingham Road and N2. I stayed there one night on my way to Drakensberg. I wished I could have stayed longer.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Amazing beautiful place with magestic views and surroundings. The hosts were unbelievably professional and friendly. Rooms were well kept and just what we needed

Lovely peaceful setting along a lovely steam which holds lots of bird life. Personal attention with great service. Good access to midlands meander. A must for nature lovers that want to appreciate some tranquility away from city rushed life.
