Westchase
The Q room was large. Comfy bed, great pillows. Full size fridge! Front desk staff friendly. I don't know if it's been refurbished or is new, but all the furniture in my room is new, carpet in great shape. Very clean room and bath. Elevator and hallway are in great shape. There's a Waffle House on the property! Other places to eat nearby. Great price. Location is @ 30 mins from MD Anderson. Yes I'll stay here again.

When we arrived the representative at the counter stated that our room was supposed to be on the 3rd floor but the elevators were out. I have a bad knee and I was not about to go up 3 flights of stairs all day long. She offered a handicap room on the bottom floor which I took. The entrance to the room smelled like onions or mold. Not sure if that was coming from the carpet in the hall or the fridge that was right by the door. The fridge was clean and the room had a kitchenette, which was convenient if you didn't want to go out to eat during your trip. I know some people travel with minimal money especially when the gas prices are so high right now. For the price it was worth it and I did book this place early. I know the elevator problem was not their fault but it just could not handle all of the people that was booked for this hotel on this weekend. It was close to the hospital which was a convenience for guests having to go there. Upon trying to find this place was tricky and there was no sign on the frontage road to find this place. When we turned on the road to get to here the hotel signs were small and I missed the road to turn in. The hotel is hidden away in the many trees surrounding the area so you have to look really good for the signs to turn into this place. Of course this place is the Woodlands after all. They do have a pool and barbeque pits if you would like to cook outside which is nice. The second night I found a roach on the kitchen cabinet which was not cool. I did kill it but the room needed to be sprayed. The staff to my surprise were not dressed as a receptionist should have been dressed to represent your company the day we arrived. The late night shift representative was behind the counter sleeping and some of our group heard her snoring. The lady on the evening shift 2nd night was dressed properly and was very pleasant and awake. Mind you all the staff had good attitudes and were never rude which was a plus for us. Because of this I will book this hotel again. We have visited many hotels in Houston area and it always seems to be some rude person at the front counter. These girls that worked here never had a rude attitude and whatever we asked for they provided (extra toilet paper) without an eyeroll for having to get up out of their seat to ”do” something. Housekeeping lady was nice also. After we came back from the concert we attended the representative gave us a 2pm check out Hooray!! We were hot and miserable and needed showers and sleep. Although there were many hiccups at this hotel we will book here again.

To the hotel management: if your best reviews date back 6 years ago, it’s time for you to start paying attention to the current situation in your property. Yes, I agree with some of the reviews, Your hotel is a den for drug dealers and ************. You got **********s swimming at 2 am in the pool while drug dealers deal in the open parking lot!!! I was amazed. Pros: close to Hwy, Overninght staff is friendly ( Thanks Elizabeth), kitchenette in some rooms, large spacious rooms, Big mirror in bathroom and Adequate bathroom supplies. Of course, if you’re into drugs and ************, then this might be a loc for you. Cons: Drug dealings and ************, TV has one channel only, remote doesn’t work, not enough parking, toilet seat missing ( was told that they were busy and hadn’t got around to fix it), no restaurants close by and most of all the breakfast sucks!!! Really sucks!!! And it’s somewhat a congested seating area. The room Rate does not match the quality. I paid more for less. Like I said, I had mixed feelings. You decide.
