It's quite remote, but it's a good fit for us to stay for one night.

That ’s it. The airport hotels in the United States are all carved out of a mold. Except for the different names, everything is the same. The breakfast is as usual.

Good location right at the corner of i10 and hwy6. Room was clean. Lobby looked really nice. Friendly staff. Check in and check out was really fast. Plenty of parking. Also as per usual with best western and other 3* hotels, there was a coffee maker. All in all it was a great hotel at a surprisingly low cost. Would recommend.

Northwest Houston
If I could give a -10 (negative 10), I would for the services at Best Western Plus Northwest Inn & Suites. The front desk man checked me in and said to me up front that the door to the room 218 couldn’t be opened. He would escort me to the room and use a key to open the door. Room 218 was the last room available and the hotel was full. I would be moved to another room in the morning when someone checked out. The person who checked me in gave the key to another man named Sam to bring me to the room as he was about to leave at the end of his shift. Sam took me to the room and opened the door using the key. The room had strong smoke odor as I walked in. After a long day of driving, I tried but could not settle in because I was starting to cough after in the room for a few hours. I specifically stated in my reservation’s request “Extremely allergic to animal hair & smoking.” Yet I was in a room that was definitely smoked in. I looked around and saw the smoke detector was wrapped tightly in plastic. That meant someone had smoked in the room and wrapped the plastic around the smoke detector to prevent it to sound off. I immediately went to get Sam and pointed out the smoke detector being wrapped in plastic. I told him that I will check out in the morning. Sam told me to talk to the manager who will come in at 7am. I could not sleep that night. I spent the night looking for a hotel. I came down around 7:05am and saw Sam who introduced Maria as the manager. I informed Maria that room 218 was a smoking room and I had to move out as soon as possible. Maria said that she was fine with me checking out and would refund the charge. When I checked out around 8am, she still charged me for the night. I said that she should not charge for the room and she said that she needs to talk to her manager Sawan or Saloan. I said that she must speak to her manager as I will dispute the charge. It is very unfortunate for the hotel to provide extremely poor services to the customer and refuse to make correction for the wrongs. I am glad that I could find a room at Best Western Plus Hobby Inn & Suites for the remaining three days of my stay in the Houston area. I will never come back to Best Western Plus Northwest Inn & Suites. I also hope the hotel will remove that plastic wrap from the smoke detector immediately as that is a VIOLATION of safety.
