"[Complaint Exposed] Beware of this hotel stealing customers’ Ctrip accounts and posting positive reviews! He must be exposed! What happened: 1️⃣ Check-in trap: The booking did not include breakfast. When I checked in, the front desk said that I was a Huazhu member and that they could send me a breakfast. I needed a Ctrip verification code. I didn’t think much about it at the time and told her after receiving the verification code. 2️⃣ Abnormal discovery: Four days after checking out (February 17), I logged into my Ctrip account and found a hotel review that Ctrip rejected and was suspected of being false! I am very puzzled! I haven't reviewed this hotel yet? And the release location is Hotan, Xinjiang, and the release time is February 15th! I left Xinjiang on February 13th, how could I possibly post this review in Hotan! And I didn’t take these photos! Ironclad evidence: • Time and space contradiction: I left Xinjiang on February 13, so it is impossible for me to post comments in Hotan • Device tracking: Ctrip backend shows that the login device is the hotel front desk iPhone • Operation record: I have never made a review 3. Platform processing: Ctrip customer service responded quickly, verified and confirmed that it was the hotel that violated the regulations, and has taken corresponding measures. Ctrip responded promptly in this regard. They immediately arranged to find the cause and gave me feedback. On my login device, I clearly saw that the hotel front desk staff had logged into my Ctrip account using an iPhone, asked for my verification code in the name of sending me a breakfast voucher, and then logged into my account to give themselves a five-star review! This behavior is really infuriating! Nature of the incident: The hotel is suspected of committing fraud through the following means: 1. Using free services as bait to obtain verification codes 2. Illegal login to user account 3. Posting fake positive reviews 4. Violation of consumers’ privacy and right to know Rights Protection Statement: Such behavior that breaks the bottom line of business ethics must be exposed! Evidence has been submitted to the cultural and tourism departments and the 12315 platform of the State Administration for Market Regulation, requiring: 1. The hotel involved publicly apologized 2. Huazhu Group thoroughly investigates management loopholes in its franchise stores 3.
