"I stayed here four nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hotel is an older, classy, clean, establishment with spacious rooms, a wonderful breakfast buffet with numerous choices, as well as coffee’s, cappuccino, espresso. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The shower had the best water pressure of any hotel I’ve been in. It is perfectly situated with local shopping, restaurants, and the numerous top sites of Sofia within walking distance. It is absolutely a great value for the service they provide. My thanks to the staff for a wonderful four-day day here and beautiful Sofia, Bulgaria."

"The hotel has an excellent location, right in the city center, within walking distance of major attractions and business districts. The rooms are very spacious, considered very roomy by European standards, fully equipped, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are very friendly, and overall I was very satisfied with my stay. It's a relatively high-value five-star hotel in Sofia, although the facilities are somewhat dated."

"Location is top of the consideration. Centre located that you can walk to most popular attraction. Metro or tram is very close within steps. Hotel is partly renovated. I believe it will be amazing when finished. Breakfast is not included. 15 Lev per person with small buffet that you can choose most popular items, ie, eggs, ham, sausages, breads or cereals. But they are not very hot on the warmers. However, I would still recommend people to go there for sleep and shower. Room was big enough and balcony overlook the city. Price is very good compare to same standard 3 stars hotel. Staff speaks reasonable English that is convenient. Good luck!"

"In general, the hotel is very good, close to Vitosha blvd and city center and clean, Standard Double Room is spacious enough The continental breakfast is sufficent but is served in the lobby and it is very weird, also it is overpriced to my opinion (15 Euro/person) Hot water in the rooms on the higher floors starts after several minutes of waiting after opening the handle of the faucet I would rate it as good 3 star hotel rather than 4"

"The hotel isn't bad, but the front desk ruined our initial impression. We booked a room with one bed and even sent an email to the hotel to confirm. When we arrived, they gave us a room with two separate beds. When we asked to switch, they told us to just push the beds together. It wasn't until we started arguing and threatened to leave a bad review that they suddenly found a room with one bed. Otherwise, no complaints."

Water pressure was very good.  • Products & Towels: Basic amenities were provided. Some towels showed signs of wear with frayed edges.  🍳 Food & Beverage • Included: Yes, breakfast was included.  • Variety & Quality: A very complete breakfast buffet, offering both hot and cold, sweet and savory options, including some local specialties.  • Negative Point: The only drawback was the juice, which tasted artificial, like a powdered mix.  🏊 Common Areas & Facilities • Facilities: The hotel features a spa, sauna, indoor pool, a restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a casino.  👨💼 Service Evaluation • Reception: Morning staff was serious. Evening staff seemed bothered by questions regarding the spa.  • Cocktail Bar: Staff here was very kind and friendly.  • Spa Staff: Described as serious, speaking only the bare minimum of words.  • Daily Housekeeping: Room cleaning was minimal; they only straightened the duvet, leaving the pillows as they were. Coffee and tea amenities were not replenished.  🚗 Transport & Access • Public Transport: Excellent connection. Very close to the metro line from the airport, with tram stops nearby and the main stations within walking distance.  🔐 Security • Access Control: Access is managed via a key card.  • Safe: There is no safe deposit box in the room.  Final Verdict: ✔ Top Strength: The super comfortable bed combined with the excellent location near major transport links (metro, bus, train). ❌ Main Drawback: The service was inconsistent, particularly the minimal housekeeping (no coffee/tea refill) and the unenthusiastic staff at reception and the spa."

"Very Disappointing Service – Not Worth the Price I recently stayed at Hotel COOP Sofia and had an unpleasant experience with one of the receptionists, Mariana. When I called the reception to request some ice for my room, she informed me ,in a rather rude tone ! That the hotel does not deliver ice to rooms and that I had to come downstairs to collect it myself. As I tried to explain that I had received ice in my room the previous evening, she abruptly hung up the phone. When I went down to the lobby to clarify the situation, I told her that her behavior was unacceptable and that an apology would be appropriate. Instead of apologizing, she claimed she was “too busy” and that there were “too many guests,” although the lobby was completely empty at the time. She then asked, again in a dismissive way, whether I still wanted the ice. I requested to speak with her supervisor, but she pretended not to understand what I meant. Eventually, she brought me a small amount of ice in a paper cup. Only after I insisted did she return with an ice bucket and tongs. This level of service is far below what one would expect from a four starts hotel of this category. The experience left a very negative impression, and I will certainly not stay here again. Aside from this, the hotel’s facilities are average at best and do not justify the price. The only real advantage is the availability of parking, which also comes with an additional charge of €12 per day."
