Embassy Suites by Hilton Hot Springs Hotel & Spa

We cannot believe this is a Hilton property. We stayed here three nights recently because we stayed at the same property few years ago and it was great. This time not so much. The closet door in the room was missing, the bathtub had obvious stains, the carpet was loose, had wrinkles and a huge stain that looked like someone spilled coffee. The room smelled sour, had insects crawling about and the room was not serviced the day before we checked out. We reported this to two hotel staffers by text message and they apologized using the excuse that the hotel is 21 years old and soon to be updated. The problem is not the age of the hotel, it is that problems have not been addressed when they appeared. In addition, the breakfast was mediocre at best and happy hour snacks were almost nonexistent. No one offered to find a better room for us or refund some of the $804 we spent for what we thought was an upscale hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel nor will we stay there again.

Service was great, location is nice if attending a convention, but the hotel needs a massive update. The carpet and furniture is worn and stained. I sneezed twenty times as soon as I walked in the room. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds ever in any hotel where I've ever stayed. First and last time to stay here. Way over priced!

This is a great location to visit Hot Springs National Park and the town of Hot Springs. The hotel is in walking distance of Main Street and bathhouse row. Parking is free. The national park is right off main street near downtown. If you are a hiker you can hike from town. The park is small, we drove thru it. That morning was misty rain so the views were not the greatest. We ate at Superior Bathhouse Brewery which has a very large covered outdoor patio. The hotel is pet friendly too.

The last time I stayed at this Embassy Suites, in Hot Springs, Arkansas was in 2017. At that time our suite was clean, and nothing was in need of repair. However, seven years later is significantly different! Before I cut loose on the disgusting condition of my room, I want to first say the service here is, by far, the best thing about this place. From the check-in counter, to cleaning staff, to the manager, every person I’ve encountered has been kind, positive, upbeat and they truly want to help! So kudos to all the staff! As for the room, it is just awful! Both beds have massive humps in the middle, and as I lie writing this I have no idea how I can tolerate this on my back one night, much less two. The beds are terrible! There is a hole in the curtain about half the size of my fist, and the carpets are disgusting and stained. I feel like I’m at Motel 6 minus gunfire! As far as I can tell the sheets look clean. It was hard to tell about the tub. It may just have yellowed over time. Either way, I brought my Clorox wipes just in case. This is an utter disappointment. Thank goodness the staff are so wonderful or this place would be a total loss!

I drove through on a work trip and stopped here for a night. The staff was super friendly, and the place was very clean. I would stay here again when driving through. Parking was easy, but it was a weekday. Checkout and check-in were a breeze and fast.

The rooms are really dated. The carpets are worn and stained. The noise from the bathroom next door is loud. The air conditioning is fair. The furniture is dated. I have not been here in two years, but I have stayed here many times in the past. I used to think these hotels were very nice. I am terribly disappointed.

Was looking forward to spending a few nights here but will have to check out early and find another hotel. The rooms are so uncomfortably warm and the AC does not pump air throughout the suite. I had to follow up a few times over more than an hour to have someone from engineering come to the room who confirmed the room was not comfortable but said there was nothing he could do. He said he just reports to management that the air is a certain temperature as it comes out of the vents even if it doesn't’ create a comfortable ambient temperature. By the way I waited 5 hours before I called to report the issue. So that was ample time to let the room cool down. So although he was a nice guy he was just checking a box and telling guests to suck it up per their policy. I changed rooms and it is the same. If you like to sleep at a temp below 78 degrees choose another hotel. Also was literally the only person sitting at the bar and it took 30 minutes to get a menu and another hour to get a roasted chicken thigh. And cold vegetables. Also disgusting stained carpets.

Very old hotel. This place needs a total makeover. It’s stuck in the 1980’s decor!! The room smells like old carpet. There are no smart plug connections and neither tv is a smart tv so no streaming. The ceiling has water marks. The furniture looks like the same furniture in the movie “the shining”. The buffett was a joke but it is free and it should be. The staff were friendly. The prices they charge are way too much for what they offer.

The location is close to historic downtown and bathhouse row, which is convenient. The shuttle only runs Fridays and Saturdays. They send text messages to check in on your stay, but don't actually respond if you reply. The flies in the lobby/bar are super aggressive; had to cover food and drinks to keep them protected. It's difficult to enjoy the space. It was in my messages that Jasimine and Kiara read, but didn't respond to or apologize for. There were more flies in the building than I encountered anywhere while outside in Hot Springs. Since flies can transmit various diseases, it's pretty gross that they have the breakfast buffet food and happy hour snacks uncovered. They need to have pest control in there today!
