"I originally planned to leave a 5-star review because the hotel itself has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. However, I ended up extremely disappointed due to something being stolen during housekeeping service. I travel frequently and stay in hotels often, so I’m usually very careful. This time, I didn’t bring many valuables with me, so I didn’t lock my suitcase when I went out. I had bought a few items from a drugstore and left them in the room. When I came back, one of the three packages was missing. I assume they didn’t take everything to avoid suspicion. I’m usually very cautious about housekeeping and potential loss of belongings, which is why I selected the “do not disturb / no cleaning” option. However, this hotel requires daily cleaning of the in-room hot spring bath. Since I booked a top-floor room with a private onsen, the front desk informed me that staff would still enter the room to clean it. I never expected that even opened, low-value cosmetics would be taken. The missing items were worth over $60. While it’s not a huge amount, it still feels very upsetting. The hotel itself is fine, but please be very careful with your belongings if you stay here. If you leave the room, make sure to take your valuables with you. The safe in the room is extremely small and cannot hold much. Overall, this experience was very disappointing."

The departure time from Idong Station seems to be from 9:00 in the morning to 12 o'clock in the morning, every 30 minutes, the car is a small business car, and the ride is very comfortable. "I came to Izu last year and again this year. After considering many factors like value for money, location proximity, and convenience to Mount Omuro, Jogasaki Coast, and Izukyu Shimoda, I still chose this hotel. Although the hotel looks a bit old from the outside and is run by elderly people, they are very spirited, healthy, speak excellent English, and are very polite. "This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready! If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!"

The bathrooms are clean and spacious, and the rooms offer views of the sea and mountains! The outdoor hot spring is especially wonderful—tranquil and peaceful. Soaking in the hot spring while listening to the birdsong is so relaxing! There's an Italian restaurant right next to the hotel, as well as some local cuisine! The food is excellent and highly recommended! There are also several other restaurants along the street, so dining should be very convenient! I booked a free pick-up and drop-off service from the station, and since it's not far, it arrived quickly! I wasn't late for my train/train! If I have the chance, I'll definitely come back again!"

"This is a historic hotel where you open the doors with a key. There's a large supermarket and two convenience stores nearby, so meals are never an issue. The supermarket also has a washer/dryer combo. You have to lay out the futons yourself on the tatami mats. Given its age, although there are many outlets in the room, there are no USB ports. The hotel offers a daily shuttle to the nearby train station, and they'll ask you if you need it at check-in."

The only disappointing thing was that even though it was Golden Week, there were mosquitoes everywhere in the large building that had overwintered, and my child was bitten by many of them. It was a shame that he was covered in insect bites at the end of April. Mosquitoes also came into the room from the hallway when the door was opened and closed. I killed 10 of them. Also, it was a problem that the shower temperature in the large public bath on the first floor was 40 degrees and the lever could not be changed.
