"The actual room looks just like the pictures, and the sea view room directly facing the ocean is beautiful. The elderly couple at the front desk meticulously explained the check-in procedures and hotel services. We were able to communicate basic information using Google Translate. The room facilities were decent, and the cleanliness was good. It's a shame I was too tired to try the hotel's hot spring; that's my only regret."

"This hotel is fantastic and fully equipped, truly a resort hotel, and many Japanese guests stay here! First, the hotel will send you an email in advance to confirm your dinner time. We booked dinner for two nights; it was a set menu, and the menu changed daily! The rooms are spacious, and there are many yukata choices! There are two hot springs ♨️, one in the main building and one in the south building. Currently, there are no private baths. We tried both. The main building's is smaller but fully equipped and less crowded. The south building isn't too far to walk to, just a few stairs! Both sides have restaurants. We stayed in the main building and dined there. Breakfast was indeed a bit of a hassle; you usually have to wait. You can go down early to make a reservation, and they'll call your room when it's ready! If you have time, you definitely need to try the hotel's facilities. It has three stops, including a free spa and an indoor water park. We went to the spa, and swimsuits were provided, which was very convenient! The internal shuttle runs until 11 PM, so you can go in the evening too! Be aware that the shuttle to the Kogen Station is the same as the internal shuttle, so make sure to ask when you get on! Both the hotel's dinner and breakfast are high-quality, and breakfast even includes sashimi rice! Plus, the hotel's souvenir shop is cheaper than the one at JR Station! I recommend having dinner at the hotel, as there's absolutely nothing around, no shops! But the hotel itself is so exciting, it's worth it even if you just stay and enjoy the hotel!"

"Followed the navigation for about ten minutes to get there. You take off your shoes at the entrance and change into slippers before entering. Check-in was smooth with instructions in Chinese. We quickly confirmed the dinner and breakfast times and locations. We chose to have it in our room, and they called beforehand to confirm if we were ready. After eating, we just put the dishes back in the box and left it outside the door. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The portions were also very generous. They offer luggage storage. We went to the hot springs both in the evening and in the morning – so relaxing! Of course, we paid the hot spring tax when checking out. Highly recommend."

"I originally planned to leave a 5-star review because the hotel itself has a very nice, cozy atmosphere. However, I ended up extremely disappointed due to something being stolen during housekeeping service. I travel frequently and stay in hotels often, so I’m usually very careful. This time, I didn’t bring many valuables with me, so I didn’t lock my suitcase when I went out. I had bought a few items from a drugstore and left them in the room. When I came back, one of the three packages was missing. I assume they didn’t take everything to avoid suspicion. I’m usually very cautious about housekeeping and potential loss of belongings, which is why I selected the “do not disturb / no cleaning” option. However, this hotel requires daily cleaning of the in-room hot spring bath. Since I booked a top-floor room with a private onsen, the front desk informed me that staff would still enter the room to clean it. I never expected that even opened, low-value cosmetics would be taken. The missing items were worth over $60. While it’s not a huge amount, it still feels very upsetting. The hotel itself is fine, but please be very careful with your belongings if you stay here. If you leave the room, make sure to take your valuables with you. The safe in the room is extremely small and cannot hold much. Overall, this experience was very disappointing."

"I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely loved the Hachiman-no Wayo-shiki room type at KIRA-NO-SATO! Upon reaching the floor of our room, we had to take off our shoes and put them in a shoe cabinet, then walk barefoot to the room. If you're heading to the public bathhouse or just exploring the hotel, you can wear the geta (wooden clogs) provided by the shoe cabinet. The floors were incredibly clean; walking barefoot was very comfortable and not dirty at all. The room itself was spotless and spacious, not feeling old-fashioned in the slightest. In fact, it looked quite new. The shower room's design reminded me of a sauna, but it was very comfortable and clean. We didn't use the public bath. Instead, we showered in our room each time before grabbing the key for a private onsen. The 'Stone Craftsman' bath, made of stone, was a bit small; it felt a little cramped for two people. 'Bamboo Immortal' was made of wood (or perhaps bamboo, judging by the name?) and offered more space. 'Rock Seat' was more like a small swimming pool, the largest of the three private onsens, very spacious for two, and had the best overhead cover. The hotel front desk offered complimentary drinks, including sodas, coffee, and tea. The public bath area provided milk and coffee milk in the mornings, and lactic acid drinks and ice cream in the evenings. The building next to the front desk offered various refreshments at different times, such as green tea, local sweet potatoes, soba noodles, and oden. The hotel also offers a convenient shuttle bus service to Izu-Kogen Station, though it stops running after 5:30 PM. After that, you'd have to walk. The walk from the station to the hotel is uphill with a significant incline, which can be tiring if you have luggage or many bags. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and polite! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Izu~"

"On the first day, we arrived at JR Ito Station after 6 PM. I tried calling the hotel but no one answered, so we had to take the Ito Kyuko Line. After getting off, we walked for over ten minutes with our luggage. Both of us are over seventy, and we were quite exhausted. I suggest extending the pick-up service until 8 PM. However, after checking in, we were very satisfied with all the services."

"First of all, I like Ctrip’s efficient service. The hotel does not have pick-up and drop-off service from Ito Station. If you have a suitcase, it is recommended to take a taxi for about 50 yuan. There are no scenic spots nearby and no sea view in the residential area. There is only a garden view that is generally neglected. Arrive at 2 o’clock. There was no reception at the door. Check-in started at 2:30. This hotel said check-in was at 3:00 and one person would check in. I was given a room first. I was shocked. I have stayed in ten rooms and never had a view. This one has no view at all, only the entire living room and bedroom. The window was half closed because there was no view. I immediately went downstairs and asked the hotel to change rooms. It was inconsistent with the order. The hotel said that there was no way. I immediately contacted Ctrip. I hope that the Ctrip guy can change it to a room with a large window. The view is still average, but I am very satisfied. The room is large and has an average size. There is also a strange Japanese-style sliding door that cannot be opened, which makes people think of bad service. And the food and beverage included in the restaurant is a bit lower than the average in the world. There are only two bottles of bulk water in the refrigerator for free. The other experience of the pool is very average. There are about a dozen rooms with half-windows and no view at all. It is completely meaningless to stay in such a room. There are very few rooms with a view shown on Ctrip. It is difficult to arrange for Hoshino World in Ito. The hotel is called Anzhen Express Hotel, which is the same but has a sea view. In short, the two areas in Ito are average. I used to make reservations frequently and was very disappointed last time. I only booked one this time and the experience was average. I just picked up a cheap hotel from First Line Sea View Hotel. Come to the room to experience it, especially the sea view is Inatori"

"We had a lovely stay at Himalaya Sea. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, amazing sea views, a nice little pool for cooling off in, as well as private and shared Onsen. They were able to accommodate us and provided a vegetarian breakfast. The free drinks (sodas, juice, wine, whiskey, etc) were appreciated. Thank you Himalaya Sea, we hope we can come back again some day!"
