Hot Springs Hotels in Fujikawaguchiko

Amazing experience! Our first stay in this area has been perfect (even tho we didn't really get to see Mt.Fuji in full glory). We hotel staff are all extremely nice and polite, the food buffet is delicious (especially sushi and beef steak) + there's a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. My first onsen visit was very relaxing and not scary at all - with 4 pools you can have a bit of privacy. The visual of hot steam against the dark sky will remain in my memory for a long time. The hotel offers transportation to and from station, or you can just walk there in like 10 mins. The location of the hotel is super - the buses stop just outside of the hotel and you can walk to some attractions (appare boat, Herb museum etc.)

Facilities: The room is very large. You can take a bath directly in the hotel. There is a kitchen in the room. You can borrow pots from the front desk. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and fireplace. The room also has floor heating. It is beyond expectations. Hygiene: very clean Environment: The hotel is very large, with guest rooms, villas, and a spa building. The one I stayed in is considered a resort, with one building and guest rooms next door and on the second floor. The restaurant is in the main building, check-in is also in the main building, and there is a shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko Station

They offer a shuttle bus service between the hotel and the station, which is very helpful. There's also plenty of parking available for those traveling by car. Service: 9/10 The service at 大池酒店 was exceptional. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with smiles, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Environment: 10/10 The ambiance of the hotel is tranquil, with a strong traditional Japanese style. The peaceful surroundings contributed to a relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding. View: 10/10 The views of Mount Fuji are simply spectacular. Waking up to that breathtaking sight is something I'll never forget. Room: 8/10 Our room was decent in size and comfortably accommodated our needs. It was beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style, adding to the overall experience. Food: 9/10 Both dinner and breakfast were served with great care, and the flavors were excellent. The meals truly showcased the local cuisine. An absolute gorgeous experience. The facilities, staff, dinners and tranquility is exceptional. I highly recommend having the private bath reserved (book it while you're there) as the views and atmosphere are even better than the main baths on the 1st floor. We came here for our honeymoon and I had wanted one thing during our time in Kawaguchiko; to see Mt Fuji from across a lake, while enjoying tea in a Japanese room. The weather covered the mountain for almost the entire stay, except once - and it was a fantastic sight to see in person. If you visit during November, there will be more tourists. This is due to the Fall festivals taking place, and there is a large selection of stalls and markets in the area to enjoy. Furthermore, Fall has an effect on the local environment that is truly beautiful. The only disappointing thing about our stay was that we stayed for two nights and wish we had booked longer! I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We loved our trip to Mt Fuji, it was even better with Fuji Ginkei, the staff were exceptionally great! We’re muslims and they did their best to cater food for us! An absolute wonderland, I highly recommend it you can even see Mt Fuji from the bedroom 🗻 Very clean rooms, the showers were amazing, the food was great, go for it guys!

Very Good value for money! With welcome drinks (juice & house wines) & snacks. Fusion fine dining dinner mixed with Japanese & western style, decent presentation & taste good. Cozy room setting with high quality drinks ware. Due to bad weather, we didn’t use the outdoor bath tub but we believe that it should have the FJ Mountain view. The 5 different hot-spring private rooms are special, no reservation is required & we tried the hot stone chair & felt good! The hot-spring section also provides to ice lolly & drinks. Buffet as the Morning breakfast with variety of foods but only serve till to 9:15am. Hotel pack up service with several time slots & operated on time.

All in all, good and clean it was a classic hotel , breakfast is various and delicious recommend to stay here.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and had already informed the receptionist when we checked in that two friends would come visit on the next day where they stayed in another hotel closer to FujiQ. When our friends came, one of their staff blocked our way and accusing us that we had more people staying than we booked in an unfriendly, rude and arrogant manner as if he was a cop and caught us did something bad. We explained to him in both English and Japanese translation that our friends were just here visiting. We showed him their other hotel booking confirmation but he said no guests were allowed to come visit in any hotel and this is their some Japan hotels authority’s rule! We asked him proof of such rules which of course there isn’t any. No proper apologies and poor attitude remains from that staff. Very bad experience with the staff here. Other than that, the hotel property and facilities were great.

Hotel Regina Kawaguchiko exceeded all expectations. The stunning views of Mount Fuji and the cozy, well-maintained rooms were perfect. What truly stood out was the outstanding service from the Chinese-speaking receptionist—his warmth and attention to detail made our trip extra special. A memorable and exceptional stay!

Resort is very near to mt Fuji, the view from villa is stunning although not view from the room however backyard from the room is good enough. We had 2 nights stay and breakfast experience is awesome, dining with mt Fuji with all self cook experience. Dinner bbq prepared by glamping is good just pricey, we had dinner outside second night, there are Aeon mall and sport depo 1 km away maybe less, we walked over and return not very hassle for us. But without car you can’t be easy at mt Fuji. Overall I love this quality glamping. 1 more sharing my friends stayed PAO, it is wonderful, exactly camping experience but high end camping facilities. Activities area is natural, We all love it.
