Koh Lipe Hostels

"1. Toilets should be cleaned more often 2. Ladies at check-in were a a bit aggressive when not understanding the question asked -often. 3. Breakfast could include a healthier option (e.g., including yogurt, nuts..) 4. No place to store your big luggage, it will remain on the ground in the bedroom -- 1. Nice design of the entire place 2. Comfy beds 3. Big locker for your day backpack, but it doesn't fit a 60 liters backpack- see above"

"The hostel is fantastic! It has a shared pool, it's right on the street with all the bars, restaurants, and services you need, and the bunk bed was super nice and comfortable. Inside the capsule, you have a place to charge your phone, leave your backpack, toiletries, etc. They also give you a free umbrella, tote bag, and thermal water bottle... I've never seen those kinds of touches. Breakfast is very basic: a coffee and some toast, that's about it. But honestly, it's great value for money."

"The hostel is in a convenient position, right in the walking street. The ground floor is sort of a post office, which makes it kind of chaotic and crowded and sometimes the shoes (that you need to leave outside of the building) are covered by the amount of packages being delivered. One pair of my shoes got taken by someone else (stolen?).  I felt there is really no control of whoever comes up, as the post office is so chaotic that no one checks who comes and goes to the hostel on the upper floors. The common area is not that big and the WiFi is not stable at all. Nevertheless these are things  The showers need some maintainance, some have hangers for clothes, some don’t, some have broken ones. Same for the toilets. The cleaning of the showers and toilet areas was quite under control. I just wish that people with long hair would clean after themselves, because patches of bestie ere to be found on the sink and the showers all the time. The room was relatively small, with 3 bunk beds and 6 small lockers. I recommend earplugs because you never know if the people in your room will snore, and also because the people in the hallway and common area are loud and no one respects the 10pm silence hours.  Good deal for money if you want to explore Ko Lipe on a budget."

"Ostello molto bello in stile thai con bellissimo bar. Molto pulito con armadietti all esterno della stanza. Unico difetto forse l aria condizionata un po’ troppo forte."

"Very nice and quiet hostel. The staff is so friendly and you get free coffee, tea, water, bananas and cookies. There are enough showers and the beds are comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Only thing is, the common area wasn't too social or inviting to just hang out a bit and meet people. But that also depends on the people who are there. Would stay there again."

"The hostel is in a great location, on the pedestrian street, a five-minute walk from Patia Beach. There are delicious restaurants all around, and the pier is only ten minutes away. The youth hostel has complete facilities and good sanitary conditions."
