"The staff were friendly and the location was good for taking the bus or walking around! It was a shame there were no curtains, but for a budget accommodation, it was okay. However, Spain's weather is hot, and on the last day, the air conditioning wasn't working, making it feel like a sauna. Aside from that, it was fine! Oh, and they don't provide towels, so it's a good idea to bring your own."

"The location is excellent! You can walk to Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, and Casa Batllo. I stayed for four nights, and all the staff members were very nice. In the mornings, there's a simple breakfast, and you can even cook your own meals as there are kitchen facilities. Plus, there's a space for drying clothes, which I really appreciated."

"A truly perfect experience! The room was spotless, and for my first time staying in a hostel, it was a fantastic introduction. The bathroom was also impeccably clean. The only minor issues were that the air conditioning in the room was quite cold, waking me up a few times at night. Also, the strip light for my bunk seemed broken and dim, especially compared to the bright one on the bunk below. The hostel offers luggage storage, but it's a bit pricey at 4.5€ for the first hour and then 0.5€ for every subsequent hour. However, the staff's service was exceptional; they truly showcased the warmth and hospitality of the Spanish people. Thumbs up! 👍"

"TOC Hostel Barcelona offers an exceptionally modern and stylish stay, especially for those booking the 8-person dormitory. The layout of the 8-bed mixed dorm is brilliantly designed; the lockers and baggage area are separated from the actual beds, which significantly cuts down on late-night noise and disruptions from roommates packing. The property excels in both amenities and security, utilizing reliable card access for the rooms. Its location in Eixample is perfect—central, incredibly safe, and just a short walk from public transport and major sights. After a long day of exploring, the communal areas, complete with a pool table and an outdoor terrace pool, provide a fantastic, relaxed environment to unwind and meet fellow travelers. While the beds could benefit from curtains to add a bit more personal privacy, the overall cleanliness, friendly staff, and great value make it a top-tier choice for a Barcelona trip."

"The room was very clean, with a duvet and extra sheets. You'll need to bring your own eye mask, as roommates have different schedules and the light can really disturb sleep. Oh, and Europe uses round-hole outlets, so charging was convenient; there's a bedside area for charging and keeping small items. The shared facilities include separate shower stalls and toilets. The service was excellent; even though I left very early to see the sunrise, someone was there to handle my checkout. I only discovered the large common room on my way out, which had a fridge, microwave, and a lounge area. It's also a good distance from the Sagrada Familia, and right across the street is a fruit stand with loquats – I didn't realize Spain had them! There's a city tax and a deposit. Overall, I was satisfied."

"It was good for a night, close to train station Barcelona sants. It was the cheapest place I could find. Sleeping in a room with 7 others comes with unconvinced things you need to deal with when you are looking for an economical accommodation. The room was clean, and sheets were clean to. Warm water and two bathrooms, one for physically challenged people."

"Overall, my stay was very good. I met a lot of lovely people, and the common area was excellent, with a kitchen and fridge available for everyone to use – a great option if you're on a budget. There are also washing machines and dryers, which are slightly cheaper than what you'd find outside. Each room has its own bathroom, which was quite clean, but the public bathrooms were a bit concerning. Regarding the room, on the first night, perhaps because I was on the top bunk with no netting, and I'm prone to insect bites, I got a 'mosquito gift package' – about 20-30 bites all over my body. I was so itchy I couldn't sleep. Although I'm not sure if it was mosquitoes or other insects, my first night's experience was really not good. After I mentioned it to the front desk staff, they checked for bed bugs, sprayed mosquito repellent in the room, and moved me to another bed. Things improved afterward, though that might also be because I bought my own mosquito repellent and anti-itch cream. On a positive note, the supermarket downstairs is excellent for buying dinner ingredients, and the water sold there is very cheap. You can also find mosquito repellent and anti-itch cream there; I bought them for 10+20€, just for your reference, and the anti-itch cream was super effective! If you're prepared for mosquitoes, I think this is a really great place to stay. It's very close to both the subway and bus stops, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the popular attractions, and the area feels very safe."

"Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were super friendly and let us store our luggage before check-in. The location is great and convenient, about a 5-minute walk to Casa Milà and easy to find. I stayed in the 10-bed female dorm and everyone was quiet. The shared bathrooms were clean, with plenty of hot water, and having them outside the room meant late-night showers didn’t disturb anyone. The Wi-Fi was stable too. The only thing I’d mention is that the under-bed storage drawer was a bit difficult to use, in which it was hard to pull out and push back in smoothly. A small shelf by each bed for phones or other small items would also be a nice addition."

There are many food shops nearby We stayed for 3 nights in a 2-person room with attached bathroom But the room cleanliness is quite dirty and the room ventilation system is poor."
