The perfect place to relax before entering HK downtown, or after leaving it. It shows signs of the time passed but it is totally OK. Chinese or Western breakfast available. Smack on the beach with an outdoor ground terrace. Super quiet in the evening. It can be reached by bus from Tung Chung bus station or by ferry from HK. Nice walks are to be had too, to hill tops or beaches. HK airport is on the other side of the island, and you can take the Ngong Ping cable car to the big Buddha from Tung Chung. If I get back to HK I will relax in this hotel first.
Hong Kong Seaview Holiday Resort has a beautiful environment, fresh air and no pollution. It faces the quiet and beautiful Silver Mine Bay. It is only a 12-minute walk from Mui Wo Pier or 5 minutes by bicycle, and a 30-minute ferry ride from Central Pier No. 6, April to October There are lifeguards on duty at the beach. The newly renovated rooms have all modern facilities.

They forgot to make the bed with the sofa even though I have special requested when made the booking, reception said I have to make the bed myself, so

The guy in reception said I can call them anytime by dail 0, but there was no phone in the room, bit wierd! We have to leave 7am, they said breakfast staff doesnt arrive till 7:30… anyway was ok to just spend the night sleep.

As soon as I entered the room, I had turned on the left air conditioner 😍
It’s so intimate that there is air-conditioning when you enter the room in this weather. 👍
The terrace can be facing the sea. There is a buried platform. You can sit and watch the sea.

Loved it, felt like home. Although the shower was a bit broken but overall it was lovely and the service was good, kind, convenient and fast. Cleanliness was overall great.
Lychee Sunset Hotel Cheung Chau is located at the center of the beautiful Dumbell Island (Cheung Chau), just a couple of minutes from the Pier and the Tung Wan Beach. Lychee Sunset Hotel has various room types to choose from. We proudly present our guests the Rooftop Terrace, which has the top view of the whole island, perhaps it is the best spot for sunset view. We provide free WiFi and Western breakfast (at Eggenberg Restaurant). It takes approximately 1 hour from our hotel to the airport, including the 30 minutes ride on Airport Express, and 35 minutes fast ferry trip from Central Pier No.5. Every room has air conditioning and a TV. For better a more convenient stay, we have a common area at our hotel, and some of our rooms have a private balcony. Our receptionist can also arrange your trip to the island. Besides the Hotel itself, our company also has a restaurant and a creative workshop for you to enjoy. The Eggenberg Restaurant provides European and Thai Cuisine.

Note that if you want to check in in person, the reception is located at a completely different address -- walk straight ahead after getting off the ferry and it's a shop on the right that also handles bookings for several other bnb places.
Otherwise, if you show up at the hotel itself, check-in is by WhatsApp only, which is a bit annoying. Also note that there's no lift, and the hotel is situated on a slope, so try to avoid bringing a lot of baggage.
While the opening hours of the restaurant / lounge area on the top floor are supposed to be until midnight, it is unstaffed and the air conditioning is turned off after breakfast hours, so I wasn't able to use the space despite it being a nice area to do some work or read.

The service was excellent! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by two receptionists who made us feel pretty welcomed. I pre-ordered a birthday package to surprise my best friend as we came here to celebrate her birthday. Everything was arranged accordingly and he even gave us a complimentary breakfast for two. They’ve been very accommodating during our stay and they were always available to offer any kind of assistance to us. Kudos to the team!
The place itself is clean and sturdy, given that it’s been operating for more than four decades now. It has stunning view of the sea. We love seating on their veranda overlooking the wonderful view of Cheung Chau Island. It’s also just few steps away from the shore, so if you want to go swimming and have a comfortable nice place to stay at, Warwick is the perfect place to be!
Until next time, Warwick Fam!
We stayed in the Disney Hollywood Hotel for a night, during our trip to Hong Kong, once we were done with our day-long visit to the Disneyland Resort. My regret is we could not stay longer. While the check-in took some time, we loved the decor of the hotel. Around every corner, there was a surprise with some recollection of a Disney character. The rooms were extremely clean, comfortable and had a classy feel. Everything from the bathroom linen to the complimentary slippers had the feeling of being in a fairyland. The next morning, our buffet breakfast was even better as we were joined by some of Disney's most loved characters. For me, for a while, I felt as if I was reliving my childhood. It was a lovely experience and I would love to return, possibly with my kids!
The Disney Explorers Lodge is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Hong Kong will find that the Disney Explorers Lodge is a fantastic accommodation choice. Hong Kong International Airport is located approximately 16km away and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station around 23km away. Keeping busy is easy, with RC Racer, World of Frozen and Cinderella Carousel all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

Overall we had a good time. Unfortunately there were no surprises (ie. unexpected fun or magical moments, services), but we did have a decent time. Hotel staffs never greeted us so it was bit unexpected in that front, because they will only respond when we greet them, so we did feel bit isolated.
Positives: Pools are open for long time, breakfast buffet quality is so good (but way too pricy, considering kids does not eat much), room is spacious, shuttle bus frequency is very convenient, hotel is really creatively constructed (both external/internally).
Areas of developments: Could be better if Staffs could greet guests (even the front desk staffs were unfriendly), Breakfast buffet’s cost performance needs to improve -> considering the super high price it should not limit the breakfast time to only one hour as guest loses time to greet character as well, also on top of high price it charges 10% service tax, and character photo costs H$168 per photo when the photo quality was bit blurry…., it would be great if breakfast buffet price could lower (especially for kids who does not eat much) or stretch the 1 hour limit to 90 min. Another area of development could be, the scope of hotel merchandise coupon… -> seems like there is unexplainable scope of which product they can allow/disallow $10 off coupon. We wanted to buy two products of which one of them the staff explained we cannot apply the coupon, and the staff’s explanation was “because this is popular”… when I asked how would we even know which is popular and which is not, and the next explanation was “oh it is because Lina Bell is popular”. It was very awkward explanation and scope, but I suppose it was Explorer’s Lodge Hotel style…
Overall, we enjoyed HK Disney land so we will definitely come back, but unless above AOD are changed/improved, we will not consider staying with Explorer’s Lodge.

CChee yeeGood to stay , the room is spacious with bath tub , connected with the mall , it’s really nice place , the only minus will be the MTR station need to interchange , if u want to go and shop at the shoplot outside , need to walk around 15 mins minimum , overall still a good hotel
CChico999Very good all around value considering you are Hong Kong. ”Cozy” rooms with comfy beds. The food is very good in spite of the set menu, except for the western option which adds a hot dog and canned baked beans to your eggs instead of bacon and potatoes. One load of self service laundry costs $10.22. Close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Recommend the dumpling place down the street.
FFelinaWe had fun, nice views, staff are nice, food are reasonable... superb spacious room more than I expected. very accomodating specially in spending quality time for a family staycation, quite Far from the city but good for those who want to escape from busy city of Hong kong... we stayed for 2 nights, kids had so much fun for the environment as a lot to go and roam around, beach view, childrens play ground,, swimming pool but we just swim once during our stay as Thunder storm is always around pool was closed most of the time, surely we will come back once again!

MMarianne Alexis AlmedaThis is our top 1 favourite hotel, The room was amazing very clean and spacious, i was expecting to have a complimentary toothbrush but they don’t have it. Thank you for the small cake our celebrant was so surprised and happy, sad part was we didn’t get to enjoy the pool area since the bad weather came. will definitely comeback here again!
AAnonymous UserGood size room for Hong Kong standards, free shuttle bus to shopping centre and MTR station. It’s about 7 minutes walk from Tai Wo Hau station just walk across footbridge and turn left, walk about 7mins. Breakfast was Ok.
FFelipe KondoService is great, check-in is smooth (either passport copy or 500HKD deposit), no lift available therefore be careful before booking if you have much luggage. Despite these small setbacks, service is super attentive and with great English, the room is super clean and offers a cozy and quiet retreat right in the middle of Wanchai. Much recommended for either long-stays or short-crash. Beware, like every HK room, it is small, but cleanliness and coziness are worth it.
PS: The table is too small for working so use a café in case a laptop is required.
EEvelynOverall is good just that they don’t provide personal care like toothbrush and toothpaste. Toilet gets flood easily after bath, and no extra towel/ floor mat to clean up the mess. Hotel staffs are helpful and professional. We reached at 1pm they immediately checked the room availability and let us check in earlier 👍🏻
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit out of the way from main tourist area- Nathan Road. It is about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station. The east and south of hotel is surrounded by some small metal retails commerce and car repair shops. I didn't like the metal and repair smells. The west of the hotel is one block away from a shopping plaza and also a lovely park. My taxi driver didn't know the hotel location until I gave him the address. The hotel entry is not easily spotted. The hotel reception is on the third floor. It looks bigger in the picture than in reality. I booked the 2 nights stay as I thought it is in a new reclaimed land area. I thought the hotel is located in a residential area. Considering the hotel is only 2 years new, I would expect the lifts are in best condition.
I would appreciate the staff at the front of the desk with some smile. The lady in charge of the breakfast was lovely.
The rooms are small, but designed to maximize the space. They are clean and the shower is great.
KKrisOur recent stay at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui was a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects that shaped our overall impression.
Pros:
Convenient Location: The hostel is strategically located in a lively neighborhood, providing easy access to public transportation and local attractions.
Polite and Friendly Staff: The staff at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui were consistently polite and friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere during our stay.
Cons:
Noise and Capsule Size: Despite reminders to keep quiet, other guests in this capsule hotel often failed to follow the guidelines, leading to disturbances. The capsules are too small, and the thin mattresses made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The lack of proper ventilation necessitated opening the capsule door for air conditioning, affecting overall comfort.
Unpleasant Odors: The pervasive smell of mothballs throughout the facility was overwhelming and contributed to headaches during our stay.
Capsule Movement Disturbances: Guests occupying the bottom capsule may experience sleep disruptions due to excessive movement from capsules above, highlighting a design flaw in the sleeping arrangements.
Small and Unsanitary Toilets: The restroom facilities were cramped, not sufficiently clean, and could benefit from improvement. While disposable towels and toothbrushes were provided, the overall cleanliness fell short of expectations.
Disposable Slippers: The disposable slippers provided were criticized for being too small and thin, prompting a preference for wearing socks in the supposedly quiet areas.
Cleanliness Concerns: While generally clean, the hostel could benefit from enhanced cleanliness standards to meet the expectations of discerning guests.
Value for Money:
Considering the price paid for our stay, The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui offered a value that was close to average. However, with several areas requiring improvement, the overall value could be significantly enhanced through better amenities and services.
Conclusion:
The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui provided a close-to-decent stay with room for improvement in various aspects. The convenient location and courteous staff were overshadowed by issues such as noise disturbances, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness concerns. With a commitment to addressing these shortcomings, this capsule hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfactory and better value-for-money experience in the future.
