I moved into the Sheung Wan by Ovolo in April 2021. Initially a three month lease, I ended up staying for over 8 months. The convenience of location, quality of service and reasonable price were factors which kept me staying on. There was only one price increase to my lease which was communicated to me in a timely manner. My stay included room cleaning services once a week, WiFi, access to the communal “speak easy lounge” to do work and heat up my meals, a gym and clothing washing service. The restaurant Te Quiero Mucho serves delicious tacos and margaritas, which I enjoyed during the festivities of the Euro football tournament! The staff were great, especially Honz, who I could contact around the clock. He even provided his mobile number for cases of emergency. The rest of the staff were professional and hospitable - a really nice group of people. As one can expect during Hong Kong summer, my air conditioner unit struggled to keep up. However it was easy to get this issue fixed. I had meals delivered to my room on regular occasions without complications. My co-tenants were pleasant and I felt a sense of community with the familiar faces after a while. One downside is that the lift is slow and doubles as a service lift, which can make coming and going a bit of a slog. In the bigger picture however it really wasn’t that much of an inconvenience. I would highly recommend a long stay at the Ovolo. Location, price and quality of service are unbeatable.
With its convenient location, the building is only an 8-minute walk to the Sheung Wan MTR subway station, making it easy for guests to wander around the city. The hotel is also within walking distance from the historic Man Mo Temple, Cat Street for antiques and arts, and the dining and entertainment districts of Soho. To further enhance guests’ experience, our rooms are equipped a smart device-friendly multimedia docking station, LCD TV and en suite bathroom with hair dryer and free toiletries. Whether you are taking time out to recharge or looking for a place where you can stay focus on your work. Our Dash Living on Hollywood is the perfect choice for a comfortable and convenient stay.

A good location and easy check-in. Hotel itself is small and compact but clean and nicely designed. The room wasn’t too small with quite a large bathroom. Shower had good hot water pressure and was clean. The bathroom sink is difficult to use due to positioning and the toilet flush is sometimes ineffective. Breakfast is served in the room, a choice of bread and beverage (coffee, tea, juice) with a banana. Bed was comfortable. Rooms have USB outlets and standard Hong Kong plugs, be sure to bring your own adapter. Room amenities such as toothbrush, etc can be purchased and bottled water is also available for 10 HKD.

The hotel is within 5-minute walking distance from the subway, mass transit railway. The HK government has imposed green restrictions on HK hotels, so that the hotels cannot provide free plastic disposables to guests. However, this hotel has provided paper slippers, 24-hour drinking water supply, etc to all guests. This is an added value compared to other hotels with similar grade. I have stayed in another nearby hotel of the same grade, but that hotel requires additional payment for paper slippers and drinking water.
Opened in 2022, the Lander Grand Hotel is a great accommodation choice in Hong Kong. The hotel is conveniently located just 7km from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and 35km from Hong Kong International Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Sheung Wan Metro Station within walking distance. This hotel is located near many of Hong Kong's attractions including Sheung Wan, Central and Oriental Pearl Harbour Cruise. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

The reason i booked this hotel is very accessible to the office I always visit owned by a friend of mine but I didn't expect the room is very clean, fully carpet, towels are new..I have a good sleep. I highly recommend the receptionist who attended me he was so nice and accommodating.very prompt in responding to inquiries.
The Lan Kwai Fong Hotel is conveniently located at Kau U Fong between Hong Kong Islands's bustling Central and Sheung Wan business districts. The hotel is within walking distance of the popular Soho and Lan Kwai Fong areas and offers convenient access to public transport including the MTR, tram, ferry and public bus. It's also right next to the world's longest covered escalator, which links the Mid-Levels and Soho to Central. The spacious, modern rooms in this Hong Kong hotel, accented with traditional Chinese elements, offer rain showers and iPod docking stations. Some have views of the city or harbor.

This is the second time I’ve stayed. The staff are very professional and helpful. The breakfast is good. And the location is great!
The Queens Super Butler was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Hong Kong. With Hong Kong West Kowloon Station just 5km away and Hong Kong International Airport only 35km away, transportation is very convenient. In addition, Sai Ying Pun Metro Station is just a short walk away. Seeing Hong Kong's sights from this hotel is easy with The Peak Tram, Sheung Wan and Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal all close by. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

Overall this is a good budget hotel in hk island, right next to tsai ying pun station, very convenient for mtr. Staffs can speak basic english. One not-so-convenient thing is the disposable towel, it is quite troublesome for most of the travellers. You should bring your own towel to make it less hazzard.
Boasting spectacular views of the city’s skyline, Bishop Lei International House provides value-for-money and comfortable guestrooms. The House features an outdoor swimming pool. It is around 5 minutes’ walk from the Mid-level Escalator and 10 minutes' walk from Soho and Lan Kwai Fong where guests can find a variety of options to enjoy local food and night life. Furthermore, the House offers scheduled shuttle service to and from the Airport Express Hong Kong Station, Admiralty, and Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wanchai. Terrace Room Restaurant provides daily breakfast and international cuisine. If you’re looking for a special and unique experience, look no further than Bishop Lei International House.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the Victoria Peak, the views from the pool and the room we stayed at were breathtaking, it’s decorated in an older style, but it’s well maintained and very clean. Overall the experience was great and we’ll be staying again in the future. Special thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade and to the concierge for the help and great sense of humor.

Since Chinese New Year I have learned about this place and it’s now my new favourite stay! This time the front entrance was complete and they were renovating the back. Kind staff, everything was met to my needs. They were also able to hold my luggage until later as I had to check out in the morning and take a train in the evening!

This is the second stay at the hotel. Became disappointed by the cigarette smoke we sensed over midnight that woke up my family. When the staff was asked to check for the violators, the staff instead sprayed deodorant outside our room, then knocked and said ”I could not smell anything”. It was disrespectful gesture, as if we lied about the incident. When we said that we could not agree with the deordant being used before her check, the staff went silent and began discussing the AC. When we interviewed other guests in the breakfast lounge, others agreed with our observation on cigarette smoke. We reported to reception as well but limited changes could be done due to centralized ventilation system. Suggest all staff go through training again regarding respect. Attached is the view from lobby of our floor. We stayed on top floors in the second stay but it didn't seem to matter.

Outstanding
CChee yeeGood to stay , the room is spacious with bath tub , connected with the mall , it’s really nice place , the only minus will be the MTR station need to interchange , if u want to go and shop at the shoplot outside , need to walk around 15 mins minimum , overall still a good hotel
CChico999Very good all around value considering you are Hong Kong. ”Cozy” rooms with comfy beds. The food is very good in spite of the set menu, except for the western option which adds a hot dog and canned baked beans to your eggs instead of bacon and potatoes. One load of self service laundry costs $10.22. Close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Recommend the dumpling place down the street.
DDuskylaneI travel through Hong Kong about four times a year ~January, February, June and August. I used to stay at the Regal at the airport for years but 2021, after COVID, when the Regala Skycity opened I've only stayed there. Service is great, buffet is sumptuous, and the bed is just right for me. They had a new feature when i checked in last month (August, 2024) ~ water thermos that can be filled from the passageway. It's so much better than plastic bottles. And the water was nice and cooling. Highly recommended!
FFelinaWe had fun, nice views, staff are nice, food are reasonable... superb spacious room more than I expected. very accomodating specially in spending quality time for a family staycation, quite Far from the city but good for those who want to escape from busy city of Hong kong... we stayed for 2 nights, kids had so much fun for the environment as a lot to go and roam around, beach view, childrens play ground,, swimming pool but we just swim once during our stay as Thunder storm is always around pool was closed most of the time, surely we will come back once again!

MMarianne Alexis AlmedaThis is our top 1 favourite hotel, The room was amazing very clean and spacious, i was expecting to have a complimentary toothbrush but they don’t have it. Thank you for the small cake our celebrant was so surprised and happy, sad part was we didn’t get to enjoy the pool area since the bad weather came. will definitely comeback here again!
AAnonymous UserGood size room for Hong Kong standards, free shuttle bus to shopping centre and MTR station. It’s about 7 minutes walk from Tai Wo Hau station just walk across footbridge and turn left, walk about 7mins. Breakfast was Ok.
FFelipe KondoService is great, check-in is smooth (either passport copy or 500HKD deposit), no lift available therefore be careful before booking if you have much luggage. Despite these small setbacks, service is super attentive and with great English, the room is super clean and offers a cozy and quiet retreat right in the middle of Wanchai. Much recommended for either long-stays or short-crash. Beware, like every HK room, it is small, but cleanliness and coziness are worth it.
PS: The table is too small for working so use a café in case a laptop is required.
EEvelynOverall is good just that they don’t provide personal care like toothbrush and toothpaste. Toilet gets flood easily after bath, and no extra towel/ floor mat to clean up the mess. Hotel staffs are helpful and professional. We reached at 1pm they immediately checked the room availability and let us check in earlier 👍🏻
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit out of the way from main tourist area- Nathan Road. It is about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station. The east and south of hotel is surrounded by some small metal retails commerce and car repair shops. I didn't like the metal and repair smells. The west of the hotel is one block away from a shopping plaza and also a lovely park. My taxi driver didn't know the hotel location until I gave him the address. The hotel entry is not easily spotted. The hotel reception is on the third floor. It looks bigger in the picture than in reality. I booked the 2 nights stay as I thought it is in a new reclaimed land area. I thought the hotel is located in a residential area. Considering the hotel is only 2 years new, I would expect the lifts are in best condition.
I would appreciate the staff at the front of the desk with some smile. The lady in charge of the breakfast was lovely.
The rooms are small, but designed to maximize the space. They are clean and the shower is great.
RRonaldThe perfect place to relax before entering HK downtown, or after leaving it. It shows signs of the time passed but it is totally OK. Chinese or Western breakfast available. Smack on the beach with an outdoor ground terrace. Super quiet in the evening. It can be reached by bus from Tung Chung bus station or by ferry from HK. Nice walks are to be had too, to hill tops or beaches. HK airport is on the other side of the island, and you can take the Ngong Ping cable car to the big Buddha from Tung Chung. If I get back to HK I will relax in this hotel first.
