I only write reviews if something is much better than expected, or much worse. I used to live in Hong Kong but now travel here once a month. First time staying at Mini Hotel. Location is great for Causeway Bay, no issue with service and cleanliness is as expected. But the facilities are just horrible: I received an "upgraded" room with zero privacy, I could hear what happened in every single room on the floor, and if that wasn't bad enough I could smell it too....they also give one-use towels, which regardless of what they claim, just feels enviromentally wasteful and cheap. Internet connection was pretty good. Service is friendly, although I question the need to take a reservation fee, and again - give me proper towels!
For HKD100-150 more you can get a similar type hotel with a semblance of privacy, proper towels, and proper ventilation. Will unfortunately never ever stay there again.

The lobby service staff are basically young people

The 10 rooms on each floor are the last rooms, should not be taken out for accommodation at all 🫨🫨🫨, you will be scared by this room, so in the end stay for a few hours to book another hotel 🏨
