We are surprised to see the nice, new, beautiful & clean hotel for the price that we paid. Good logistics. My group of friends love it & plan to stay here again in next Hong Kong trips. Although no breakfast provided but there are many restaurants around when step out from the hotel. The Prince Edward MTR Station is about 100 meters away. So it is very convenient to travel around Hong Kong as it is in the center of MTR connection stations. Only problem is no toilet at reception area once you out from your room.

Environment: The room is located in a building in Mong Kok. The bus stop is downstairs and the subway station is a short walk away. The location is good.
Facilities: The hotel is a small room separated from a house. Although the area is relatively small, it is cost-effective. The water supply, electricity supply and shower are relatively good. It is suitable for personal travel like me (there are twin rooms, and I booked a single room).
Service: The hotel provides adapter sockets.
Hygiene: The internal hygiene of the accommodation is good (because the space is not large, if there is any unclean place, it will be obvious)
Places worth improving: Because the front desk is outside the door, sometimes the store will make a loud noise when cleaning (not continuous and intentional, and does not affect privacy). It is recommended that the store clean regularly during the day; there is decoration on the same floor, and there is slight dust when entering and leaving.
Because I almost walk in the city during the day, the above places worth improving are not a big deal, but I still hope that the store will adopt the suggestions.

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel. About 2-3mins walk from the nearest train station. Lots of restaurants near by. The area is not so crowded unlike in Tsim Sha Tsui area. Recommended for stay for family and friends. Provides a healthy buffet breakfast.

It was a great experience overall. We reached the hotel at around 2 PM, but they couldn't check us in due to the Microsoft outage. There was a lot of confusion among other visitors, and the lobby was packed with people waiting for the check-in to start. I appreciate the front desk associate Abegail keeping her calm and composed smile, asking if we had lunch and, if not, to come back after lunch for check-in.
The place was right next to the Nathan Road exit of East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. That means it is next to Chungking Mansion for all things Indian. So we went to a restaurant inside Chungking Mansion, and by the time we got back, there was a long queue for check-in. Although the line was long, the front office staff quickly processed the check-ins. Mine just took 3 mins by the same front desk staff - Abegail. She also mentioned that I was getting an upgrade because all the Premium rooms with two double bed options were already occupied.
We went to the room and it was awesome! The room was clean, and the pillows were named ”firm” and ”soft” so we could choose which to use. The room had an air purifier. Then, we opened the curtain to a scene showing Hong Kong's reality. While as a tourist, we are usually only privy to the better scenery of the place, we were looking at how cramped the living conditions were in Hong Kong. But to the left of our window was a bell tower and a garden; behind that was the Victoria Harbor *****.
The best part of the hotel is the location and proximity to MTR, which allows you to visit all the places.

This is the second stay at the hotel. Became disappointed by the cigarette smoke we sensed over midnight that woke up my family. When the staff was asked to check for the violators, the staff instead sprayed deodorant outside our room, then knocked and said ”I could not smell anything”. It was disrespectful gesture, as if we lied about the incident. When we said that we could not agree with the deordant being used before her check, the staff went silent and began discussing the AC. When we interviewed other guests in the breakfast lounge, others agreed with our observation on cigarette smoke. We reported to reception as well but limited changes could be done due to centralized ventilation system. Suggest all staff go through training again regarding respect. Attached is the view from lobby of our floor. We stayed on top floors in the second stay but it didn't seem to matter.

Great location and hotel is getting a facelift to its looks and entrance.
The daily bus service should be continued as this helps long stay customers get into the business area for work and was one of the good facility offered by the hotel. This was stopped since 1st sept.

CChico999Very good all around value considering you are Hong Kong. ”Cozy” rooms with comfy beds. The food is very good in spite of the set menu, except for the western option which adds a hot dog and canned baked beans to your eggs instead of bacon and potatoes. One load of self service laundry costs $10.22. Close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Recommend the dumpling place down the street.
DDuskylaneI travel through Hong Kong about four times a year ~January, February, June and August. I used to stay at the Regal at the airport for years but 2021, after COVID, when the Regala Skycity opened I've only stayed there. Service is great, buffet is sumptuous, and the bed is just right for me. They had a new feature when i checked in last month (August, 2024) ~ water thermos that can be filled from the passageway. It's so much better than plastic bottles. And the water was nice and cooling. Highly recommended!
FFelinaWe had fun, nice views, staff are nice, food are reasonable... superb spacious room more than I expected. very accomodating specially in spending quality time for a family staycation, quite Far from the city but good for those who want to escape from busy city of Hong kong... we stayed for 2 nights, kids had so much fun for the environment as a lot to go and roam around, beach view, childrens play ground,, swimming pool but we just swim once during our stay as Thunder storm is always around pool was closed most of the time, surely we will come back once again!
Recommended 👌
MMarianne Alexis AlmedaThis is our top 1 favourite hotel, The room was amazing very clean and spacious, i was expecting to have a complimentary toothbrush but they don’t have it. Thank you for the small cake our celebrant was so surprised and happy, sad part was we didn’t get to enjoy the pool area since the bad weather came. will definitely comeback here again!
AAnonymous UserGood size room for Hong Kong standards, free shuttle bus to shopping centre and MTR station. It’s about 7 minutes walk from Tai Wo Hau station just walk across footbridge and turn left, walk about 7mins. Breakfast was Ok.
FFelipe KondoService is great, check-in is smooth (either passport copy or 500HKD deposit), no lift available therefore be careful before booking if you have much luggage. Despite these small setbacks, service is super attentive and with great English, the room is super clean and offers a cozy and quiet retreat right in the middle of Wanchai. Much recommended for either long-stays or short-crash. Beware, like every HK room, it is small, but cleanliness and coziness are worth it.
PS: The table is too small for working so use a café in case a laptop is required.
EEvelynOverall is good just that they don’t provide personal care like toothbrush and toothpaste. Toilet gets flood easily after bath, and no extra towel/ floor mat to clean up the mess. Hotel staffs are helpful and professional. We reached at 1pm they immediately checked the room availability and let us check in earlier 👍🏻
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit out of the way from main tourist area- Nathan Road. It is about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station. The east and south of hotel is surrounded by some small metal retails commerce and car repair shops. I didn't like the metal and repair smells. The west of the hotel is one block away from a shopping plaza and also a lovely park. My taxi driver didn't know the hotel location until I gave him the address. The hotel entry is not easily spotted. The hotel reception is on the third floor. It looks bigger in the picture than in reality. I booked the 2 nights stay as I thought it is in a new reclaimed land area. I thought the hotel is located in a residential area. Considering the hotel is only 2 years new, I would expect the lifts are in best condition.
I would appreciate the staff at the front of the desk with some smile. The lady in charge of the breakfast was lovely.
The rooms are small, but designed to maximize the space. They are clean and the shower is great.
RRonaldThe perfect place to relax before entering HK downtown, or after leaving it. It shows signs of the time passed but it is totally OK. Chinese or Western breakfast available. Smack on the beach with an outdoor ground terrace. Super quiet in the evening. It can be reached by bus from Tung Chung bus station or by ferry from HK. Nice walks are to be had too, to hill tops or beaches. HK airport is on the other side of the island, and you can take the Ngong Ping cable car to the big Buddha from Tung Chung. If I get back to HK I will relax in this hotel first.
KKrisOur recent stay at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui was a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects that shaped our overall impression.
Pros:
Convenient Location: The hostel is strategically located in a lively neighborhood, providing easy access to public transportation and local attractions.
Polite and Friendly Staff: The staff at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui were consistently polite and friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere during our stay.
Cons:
Noise and Capsule Size: Despite reminders to keep quiet, other guests in this capsule hotel often failed to follow the guidelines, leading to disturbances. The capsules are too small, and the thin mattresses made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The lack of proper ventilation necessitated opening the capsule door for air conditioning, affecting overall comfort.
Unpleasant Odors: The pervasive smell of mothballs throughout the facility was overwhelming and contributed to headaches during our stay.
Capsule Movement Disturbances: Guests occupying the bottom capsule may experience sleep disruptions due to excessive movement from capsules above, highlighting a design flaw in the sleeping arrangements.
Small and Unsanitary Toilets: The restroom facilities were cramped, not sufficiently clean, and could benefit from improvement. While disposable towels and toothbrushes were provided, the overall cleanliness fell short of expectations.
Disposable Slippers: The disposable slippers provided were criticized for being too small and thin, prompting a preference for wearing socks in the supposedly quiet areas.
Cleanliness Concerns: While generally clean, the hostel could benefit from enhanced cleanliness standards to meet the expectations of discerning guests.
Value for Money:
Considering the price paid for our stay, The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui offered a value that was close to average. However, with several areas requiring improvement, the overall value could be significantly enhanced through better amenities and services.
Conclusion:
The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui provided a close-to-decent stay with room for improvement in various aspects. The convenient location and courteous staff were overshadowed by issues such as noise disturbances, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness concerns. With a commitment to addressing these shortcomings, this capsule hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfactory and better value-for-money experience in the future.
