Dr Michael ChengI absolutely have to highly recommend this hotel! I originally thought staying in Wan Chai was just for the convenience of transportation, but after actually staying here, I realized this location is truly perfect for anyone visiting Hong Kong for tourism or business.
The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable; the housekeeping staff does an excellent job every day. The lobby and front desk staff are also very friendly and polite, making the entire stay very comfortable.
The most commendable aspect is definitely the location. Transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. There are plenty of leisure options and great food nearby. If you want to grab a drink or experience Hong Kong's nightlife, it's also very accessible. Especially for someone traveling to Hong Kong alone for business, I think this place is truly ideal. After work, if you want to eat, shop, or relax, you pretty much have everything at your fingertips.
The only downside was that my stay coincided with a major exhibition in Hong Kong, causing the room rates to almost double for the latter part of my trip, which is why I unfortunately had to switch hotels. Otherwise, I genuinely would have stayed for a full week.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this stay, and I'm very grateful to all the hotel staff for their care over these past few days. The next time I visit Hong Kong, if the price is right, I will definitely prioritize staying here again. Highly recommended!

Anonymous UserWe stayed at WAKE Concept Hotel for one night in a Standard Queen Room. We already knew the room would be small, so we didn’t have very high expectations. We only brought backpacks for this trip, which turned out to be a good choice because there is really no space for luggage in this room. If you’re booking the Standard Queen Room, I would recommend bringing a backpack or a small carry-on at most.
Unfortunately, cleanliness was one of the biggest issues for us. I could see quite a bit of dust and some hairs that had not been properly cleaned. The room also felt like it was not very well maintained.
The bathroom is extremely small, and when you shower, water will almost certainly splash into the toilet bowl area. The toilet flush was also not very strong, so we sometimes had to flush twice.
The bed was another downside for me. It was quite hard, and unfortunately, I didn’t have a very good sleep that night.
On the positive side, the location is very convenient. The hotel is close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and there are plenty of eateries, shops and convenience stores within walking distance. Another big plus is that there is a direct Airport Bus A21 that stops near the hotel, which makes getting to and from the airport very convenient.
Since we were only staying for one night and the small room was already within our expectations, we were still okay with the overall experience. However, if I were staying for a few nights or longer, personally, I would not choose this hotel again.
Overall, I would say this hotel is more suitable for a very short stay, especially if you are travelling light and mainly looking for a convenient location.

golangHaving stayed at many hotels in Hong Kong, this one offers excellent value for money. It's easy to find, located right next to V City mall and about 100 meters from Tuen Mun MTR station. The breakfast is also very reasonably priced. The room is spacious, with two double beds that can easily accommodate four people. Absolutely recommended!

jinnleeThe location is good, within walking distance to Causeway Bay and Tin Hau MTR stations, and just a few steps from the tram stop. The handsome guy on the first floor was enthusiastic and polite. The room was small, but had everything you need, which is understandable in Hong Kong. Just a heads up, they require a deposit for check-in and I didn't have my credit card, but luckily I had some Hong Kong dollars with me.

Guest UserLocated in the Aberdeen area, it's a bit far from the MTR station, but thankfully Hong Kong's double-decker buses are very convenient, with many bus routes right outside. For Hong Kong, it offers good value for money, and the room isn't particularly small by HK standards, though if I had brought a large suitcase, opening it might have been a bit of a squeeze.
I stayed on a higher floor, and the overall environment was quite quiet. A HKD 500 deposit is required, either cash or credit card. The basic room type wasn't available, so I got the sea-view double room I booked. You can indeed see the sea... but there's not much to look at.

Thomas1789Dorsett is a good chain hotel that I’ve stayed at before many times in Hong Kong, but I have to say this is probably my least favourite of the several locations they have. The hotel does offer good facilities and good sized rooms with comfortable bedding, bathroom. The hotel also has a gym, and restaurant. However, the location isn’t too good and despite saying it’s only a few hundred meters away from two metro stations it’s quite a long and inconvenient walk from either. In addition, one side of the hotel overlooks a huge cemetery and grave yard - so if you are particular about this kinda of thing it would be an issue and it would be your entire view so something you can’t avoid. This isn’t mentioned anywhere else from what I can find. The only way you can avoid this is to pay to upgrade to a premium room (I feel this is a little unfair way of marketing). Staff are generally friendly however I did find one of the concierge a little rude and abrupt.

The stay at Venetian Hostel was a good one. Surprising at first if you are from the west due to it's location, but equally super interesting and an authentic experience of Hong Kong. The rooms were small, but no one is expecting luxury at such a price, clean, the AC worked well (which is a must in such a hot place) and the reception was very helpful. The roof of the building also makes for a pretty cool hang out spot if you can manage the heat.

LockalockOn the ground floor, there were quite a few foreigners, seemingly all exchanging currency. The hotel is located in Block B, so you need to walk further inside and take the elevator. It's quite close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station Exit N5. Right outside the building, there's an international mall, which is convenient for shopping. However, the fan inside was quite noisy, and the air conditioning wasn't really on. The overall hygiene of the building seemed just okay. The front desk staff were very nice and showed me how to use the key card access. A thoughtful touch was that they provided an adapter, as mainland Chinese and Hong Kong sockets are different.

Guest UserThe environment here is fantastic, and the facilities are all very well-equipped. The service is also excellent; every day, the staff greeted us with a smile and were very attentive. It's not too far from Disney, which is very convenient. And especially the hotel's view!!! It's absolutely stunning.

Guest UserThis hotel, nestled in the bustling Yau Ma Tei district of Kowloon, truly embodies the advantage of a prime, 'every inch counts' location. Although on the first floor, the public lounge area is thoughtfully designed. During off-peak hours, the occasional chatter from outside adds a touch of lively local flavor, making it feel wonderfully vibrant. There's no in-room direct drinking water, but the supermarket downstairs is just a stone's throw away, making resupply incredibly convenient. The room layout is ingeniously compact, with every bit of space utilized perfectly, making it an efficient and practical urban dwelling choice.
