BbonnieloveGreat little spot relatively close to the city centre. We walked into the city in about 20 minutes! It’s a self check in and check out system with very clear instructions and opportunities for help if needed. The room is very clean with a nice en-suite. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
GGuest UserOn my way home from Belfast City Hospital my friend treated me to lunch in this beautiful Tea Room. The lady who served us was efficient and friendly. Our sandwiches were delicious: a club sandwich and a Brie, grape and mango, my friend had soup and we both had tea in china cups. We couldn’t resist the delicious selection of desserts and had lemon meringue pie and a chocolate brownie. I loved the whole experience and look forward to my next visit.

GGuest UserMeet Michael when I checked in Saturday evening around 6pm if found him not to be friendly I was checked into room no 2 it was a spacious room it had a double and single bed and the room was cold I felt the radiators and they were lukewarm I had to take the duvet cover off the single bed to keep me warm. I went down to the breakfast room for 8am and pump into Michael and he told me just help yourself and he disappeared I discovered I wasn’t going to be served a cooked breakfast and this wasn’t explained to me when I checked in I had to served myself with a continental breakfast as Michael wasn’t around to explain to me. Overall I have traveled all over the world and stayed in various hotels and B&B this is the worst experience I had I will certainly not be returning here again and will not be recommending this B&B to my friends.
Bank Square Townhouse won't tell you your room will be right beside a busy pub/beer garden, in fact no one will mention it until you annoyingly find out for yourself. They're more than happy to take your money but they conveniently forget to inform you, you'll need to bring the world's best ear plugs to have any chance of getting a good nights sleep! I don't appreciate that at all especially when they're charging over a 100euro per night! For that sizeable sum you get to fall asleep to the sound of drunk yobs screaming and heckling one another into the wee hours with loud music blaring in the background. The constant sound of drunks hollering at each other right outside your window won't stop until at least 1am from Sun-Wed but if you're really unlucky you'll get to hear them until at least 2am from Thurs- Sat, by the time everyone leaves. The yelling, jeering, vomiting and at times, drunken crying is so loud you almost feel like you're down there with them all, so if that's what you're looking for when you put your head on the pillow - you've come to the perfect place! As if that wasn’t bad enough some of these drunks can end up in the room beside you after the pub has closed, so instead of the noise going away it actually gets amplified like it did during my stay. When I reported my noise complaint to reception, no one came to quieten these intoxicated people down. There was literally 3-4 men in a room beside me jumping around and shouting at each other until the next morning. The hotel said someone should have come to address the noise inside the room as that is their policy. That sounds great but there’s a big difference between what is policy and what is reality. No one came, so only God knows what that night duty employee does with himself all night if he’s not ensuring paying guests are ok. It’s literally the number 1 thing you’re supposed to do on a night duty shift but in this hotel they don’t even bother to check their inbox to see if anyone has reported anything. The level of incompetence is ridiculous. The night duty fiasco just exemplifies this hotel, without the pub/beer garden next door yes, the hotel would be in a great location, but the reality is there is a big drinking area beside this establishment and that means paying guests get hit with a mountain of noise every single night. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels in different city centers, this place is by far the worst one, for one simple reason..you don’t get a decent night’s sleep at all. It should be a hotel for deaf people only.
Ssgausden1980Really good B&B on the edge of Belfast which is close to shopping centres and the motorway. The rooms are spotless, large and comfortable. The on site kitchen is an excellent addition with some items available all day long on a help-yourself basis. Quiet and peaceful, great WiFi and a fantastic host in Vivian. Will definitely be returning soon!
