The hospitality offered by the Driftwood Inn was superb. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The steak house across the street, which is owned by the daughter of the Driftwood Inn, was phenomenal. The front desk also arranged a seaplane trip for us to visit bears. It was a highlight of our visit to Homer. So, too, was the Fish & Wildlife center.

Have stayed (with dogs & kids) at the Driftwood for over 20 years. Convenient location next to Bishop's Beach and Two Sisters bakery. Variety of room options. We had Room 21 (I believe!?) this time and it was perfect for a family w a living room and kitchenette. Also loved that it had outdoor hoses for our bikes after riding on the beach.

The best place in Homer Alaska to stay at . Right next to the water and walking distance to several dining places , just needed more time to see everything, will definitely be back this next summer for some deep sea fishing and sightseeing!!!!

I stayed at the driftwood while in Homer for a motorcycle trip. The front desk clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! The rooms were so cozy for a single person, they were clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again if my travels bring me back up!

Homer is a little slice of heaven and the driftwood in was very accommodating and really made the experience very enjoyable. Very close to the spit and extremely convenient. Room was great as was the service. If I make it back to Homer, I would definitely give them a call and advise you to do so as well.

I have stayed in Homer many times and somehow missed this gem. The staff were helpful. The property has beautiful views right off the beach. The room was comfortable and there were multiple dining options nearby. We’ll be staying here on our next trip.

It is what it is. An old building with small rooms, narrow stairway, shared bathroom. There is nothing to complain about, we enjoyed the one night we spent and are grateful they had a vacancy. Its just not a 5 star facility, but plenty good for the price.

Enjoyed the character of the hotel, though not offering the largest of rooms, everything was clean, lobby was quaint. Bathrooms shared but clean. Pleasant staff.
