Returned to Mango Bay 3 weeks ago, this time took our children! It was the paradise it always is, Absolutely beautiful, service as impeccable as normal. The atmosphere, the ambiance, just everything was amazing!! The bar staff were so attentive to our children, trying to teach them their little magic tricks! Rayden and Damien I thank you for just being you! My children adored everyone, and the memories made for them by the staff will last a lifetime! Thank you everyone at Mango Bay! See you all again soon!xxx

Great location resonable accommodation but you must understand what you are getting. If you want to drink all day and listen to bad singers pumping out 1960s and 1970s music all the time and are keen on a neptunes off Benidorm caravan club vibe then it’s for you. Peace and quiet good food and any form of Barbados vibe please go elsewhere.

Just back after 8 wonderful days at Mango Bay. Mango Bay’s position in Holetown is excellent with a beautiful beach and lovely stretch of clear water to swim. The hotel is small and very friendly with a lovely ambiance to it . The only areas that I felt could be slightly improved on are the rooms whilst impeccably clean could perhaps do with a wee bit of modernisation ( TLC) and the food which has a slightly limited choice ( 1 meat , 1 fish & 1 vegetarian main ) . I would add as a caveat whilst limited choice the food was very enjoyable. Would I recommend? Definitely.

Excellent, not too big friendly Hotel with friendly staff! Also, West coast is boasts the best beaches and lovely shopping centre. Plenty to do and beaches are beautiful in that area. Hotel has great facilities including free water-skiing, catamaran trip etc.

After reading mixed reviews we were a little concerned…No problems at all. Very small hotel. Lovely pool, plenty of sun beds, The most Beautiful Beach, crystal clear sea. Soft sand. Amazing view. Rooms..we had ground floor looking directly onto the beach, although a little tired air conditioning was great. Bed was high & comfortable, mini fridge stocked daily with water, coke, juice, tea, coffee, biscuits. Extremely clean. Food was great no issues at all . Staff were so friendly. Absolutely loved this place would love to return.

We are just having our last lunch at the mango bay hotel . What a fantastic place it is , great staff, food, location and people. We really don’t understand some of the reviews saying the food is horrid . All the meals we had was superb. The rooms are a little dated but are clean and tidy .we tend not to visit anywhere more than once but we would definitely come back to Barbados and definitely stay at the mango bay hotel. Thank you to all the staff and the lovely people we met making our holiday such a wonderful one.

I want to thank every member of staff at this hotel for ensuring myself and my friends had the best experience possible. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and comfortable. There is a wide range of food and drinks available and all of it is delicious. The main highlight is the customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff helped plan our activities and gave helpful tips so we had the best time. They really went above and beyond , this hotel has the best customer service I have EVER experienced. I wish I could give this hotel even more stars ! 1000% would recommend and I will definitely be staying at Mango Bay again when I get the chance

I stayed at Mango Bay for 2 nights and was glad I switched to Beach View up the road in Paynes Bay. While the location is great the hotel leaves much to be desired and is not worth the price. The good: - Location is unmatched. Its right on second street in the heart of Holetown. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the grocery store is about 5 min walk. - It has a nice ***** of beach with complementary chairs and umbrellas - It also has some water sports that you can access for free - Im not into frozen drinks but they seemed really popular. I broke down and ordered a pina colada and it was absolutely delicious - There are a few nice staff, I wish I remembered their names but they were mostly servers in the dining room. The bad: - The food is horrid. I tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of it was really bad. Like had to push my plate away bad and ended up just eating at the nice restaurants nearby. - Hotel facilities are really dated. They also didnt feel clean. My room had two twin beds though the booking said the rooms had a king. They had no kings available. - My room had no wifi. The Mb- Guest wifi network didnt even appear in my room to try to sign on to. There was a MB- staff wifi but it took me forever to get hooked up to it, in large part because the reception staff said they didnt even know there was a staff network. She sadly wast very competent in terms of proactively following up to find the password. I called and she said she would call the duty manager… an hour later as I was leaving for dinner asked the status and she said the duty manager didn’t know it... I asked her to track it down while was out for dinner… upon my return 2 hours later she said she asked the one staff she thought knew it but he didnt have it either. I then had to get mad and tell her this was ridiculous and she should be asking more people… 30 minutes later she found a kitchen staff who had it but then wouldnt give me the actual password which meant I would keep needing folks to resign me in. I had to tell her that was unacceptable when she said she would call the general manager to ask. I was astonished that she hadnt called them previously. And after all that (on my 2nd day at the resort) the wifi only worked intermittently. - The above example represents some of the staff. Lots of lack of attentiveness, proactivity, and customer service. Folks at the bar often were busy talking amongst themselves while people waited to order drinks. Now of course this wast all the staff (the older gentleman behind the bar was always on top of it!) - You had to make reservations to eat at the only restaurant on property for lunch and dinner by breakfast. It was hard to get a decent seating time even for me being only 1 person. -They had no service on the beach. So no drinks or food orders. This is not terrible but not great for a resort at over $400 USD/nightly. - Rooms were pretty small. My room also had some equipment that started and kept beep

Great little hotel , had a great time again 4th visit for us,the menu can be a little limited but overall the food was good, beware is you choose the front Seaview rooms they can be noisy at night , not the hotels fault but inconsiderate people ! We had to call security twice well into the early hours to calm things down outside our window , some people have no respect for others !! Sun loungers are too close together on the beach so if you're looking for seclusion think before you book.
