It was booked in a Japanese-style room, and the heating was turned on before the check-in, and the electric thermos were also powered. After going to dinner and going back to the room, the bedding has been laid on the tatami. One thing is not the problem of the hotel, but the hotel contact number displayed on the Ctrip order is incorrect. It was discovered only when Sendai contacted the hotel. The historical relics of Hiraizumi have been included in the World Heritage List, and what is inspiring to the present people is the concept of “clean land”.

This place could have and should have been wonderful. It was our final 3 night accommodation before returning home and we so looked forward to our 10 tatami room with park view. (Description from their website: “New Wing Standard Park View Japanese-Style Room, 10 tatami mats Non-Smoking [no bath, toilet with washer]”). On the website you have to check the Japanese to see the tatami size, in English it shows square meters. You can imagine our shock when we were shown our 6 tatami room. There was hardly enough floor space for the two futons along with the low table and two chairs, let alone luggage for two people on a 6 week Japan trip. Our one window looked out on the parking lot. If you squinted and look to the right you could glimpse the trees bordering Kanjizaiō-in Ato and perhaps the parking lot for Motsuji Temple. We had little interest in a view, but the fact that the room was described as having a “Standard Park View” was very misleading. We tried to arrange for a change of room. We were told there were no vacancies; the ryokan has only 6 rooms. Although there were rooms unoccupied on other nights of our stay, we were not offered them, though we would gladly have changed rooms mid-stay to get more floor space. We were also told there was no difference in price from the 6 tatami to the 10 tatami room so no refund was offered. Had we known this was the room we were going to be given, we would not have made the reservation. We have been coming to Japan twice a year since 1999, and this is the first time we have had such a problem with the room being so different from the one we reserved. As a “make nice” we were given beer free of charge with each of our dinners, but, quite frankly, it was no substitute for our cramped quarters. The baths were very small, probably no more than two people could fit comfortably at a time. The meals were lovingly prepared and served. It’s clear that the point of this ryokan is the food, not the accommodations, though the property was quite new and spotless. The care and attention to detail given by the chef was obvious with each course and each plate chosen specially to enhance the food. The chef or his assistant came to our table and gave us a brief description of each plate; much longer descriptions in Japanese were given to other guests, but we appreciated the chef’s trying to let us know something about the food we were served. I wish there were a way to rate the ryokan for food separate from accommodation. I took what would be our two ratings and averaged them.
There is a bath in the room. Although it is not open-air, it is still very interesting.
The room is spacious and the air conditioning is adequate. Although the food is not very good, the price is also a bit expensive. The hotel can provide it in a remote area, and the catering service is already very good.
The hotel provides free self-service laundry and drying services, which is very convenient for long-distance travelers!
I stayed from Friday night on weekdays. It's high on Saturdays, but I felt that it was the strongest Cospa until Friday night. First of all, parking is free, and Yakiniku and cold noodles shops are just next to walking, and dinner is good. The breakfast was also substantial and it was a pity that there was no yogurt, but there is a shopping mall nearby, so it is enough to go shopping. I could buy not only yogurt but also Fukuda bread famous in Iwate Prefecture. The room was a two-stage bed and the children entered there. The price is less than 10,000 yen in one room, so it is likely to be used next time.
I was so kind and warm that I didn't think it was a business hotel. The front desk 々 is also very fine and generous 々. The restaurant in the hotel is high in quality for the price. I ate in the same place in the morning and was very satisfied. The radium hot spring was also used and cleaned well, and I was able to slow down the fatigue of the trip. I used a business hotel quite a bit at work, but there are no more hotels here. I will definitely go to Ichiseki and visit the hotel when I come to Iwate!
We stayed for 1 night in business. Is the business as a wedding hall the main? Honestly, the building is old. It is also about facilities. This is undeniable. But first, I was relieved by the smile of the receptionist woman. Check in with a good impression! I wanted to go out early and went to the room immediately. There is no high building around, so the view without pressure on the 5th floor (top floor). It is a double room, so it is relaxing. When I got the key back from the outing, I was able to receive the room number Aya Fuya W, but I remembered the cute woman with the smile of the example. The unit bus was large enough (about one Tsubo) from the old, and I was able to stretch my legs and soak in the bathtub. The amenities are also firm. Above all, the feather pillow was good! It was comfortable for me who was hard or poor at high pillows. There were two more spare parts in the closet. Overall old, but cleaning is well done. I wanted to take care of you if I had another chance. Breakfast is a Japanese meal... here - ☆.
