"In the whole well: room, room size, refrigerator in the room, beer garden, restaurant indoor and outdoor area. The hotel very well, the restaurant with defects: the white wine was too warm and there was no cappuccino for breakfast? ! We made a bike tour, in all the other, simpler guesthouses, Cappuccino was no problem for breakfast, here already. And: although we stayed in the hotel and booked a table for dinner, there was no place outside, only inside - and that was very warm ...."

Before check-in, you will send a letter informing you to register, pay tourist tax (2 people 7 euros), and get the password of the key box outside after online processing; you can also ring the doorbell. The accommodation will be accompanied by a Titi Lake transportation ticket for 2 days. It is recommended to ask if you can provide a little transportation fee first. Very satisfied with the location and accommodation Bath gel super aroma ( fig + fennel) Excellent breakfast"

"This hotel was so perfect for my stay in the black forest! My room was so cute and comfortable, and the owners were so kind and nice! The location can’t be beat, right by the train station and next to the buses to take you to the Christmas market. I had a great breakfast here, but not so great experience dining at dinner the one night I was there. I’m not sure why the service was so off, it was a complete different experience at breakfast, which was so nice a friendly. I would still stay here again, and give the restaurant another try."

"About a 12min walk to the train station. Cute little town! Gave it 4 stars because the bed’s mattress was very flat & it was almost like sleeping on a sofa bed - pretty uncomfortable. But the room was really cute, very clean. There was cheese, cold cuts, yogurt & a very tasty bread for breakfast. A few veggies, too. We arrived around 4p & the door to the hotel was locked - almost looked as if no one was there! Rang the doorbell twice & the manager guy came to open it. Overall a good 1 night stay for the Christmas market, which was amazing!! There’s another hotel that’s pretty close to the train station, too. I would’ve preferred to stay closer, actually. There was GlüHwein (for $2.50 euros) & other small wine bottles/ drinks - on the honor system."

"We were travelling with our two children and the hotel staff could not have been more premature. Since our arrival, they have made every effort to make us feel well. The reception surprised our children even with small welcome bags full of toys, which was a nice gesture. They always looked at us and asked if we needed additional towels or if the children wanted hot chocolate. It felt as if it was really important for them that our family feels like at home."

"My husband and I stayed here for one night to visit the popular Ravenna Gorge Christmas Market. The hotel was easy to find, had parking out front, conveniently located and quaint. We booked a small room for our short stay. It was a tight space, but cozy. The hotel has a lot of character and the breakfast was perfect to fuel us for the day. We took the Hinterzarten shuttle to the Ravenna Gorge market and the hotel was decent walking distance from the train station/shuttle pickup spot. We enjoyed walking around Hinterzarten from the hotel as there were many cute shops nearby."

"This is a very laid back and comfortable hotel. The room I had was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. We had a vegetarian meal in the evening which, tasty and good value. Some of the veg grown in the garden. Breakfast was fresh and really appetisingly presented. There is not a bar but there is an “honesty” fridge which contained wine, beer and soft drinks. NB room to be paid for in cash. Host was helpful and clearly proud of his hotel."
