Super 8 by Wyndham Hill City/Mt Rushmore/ Area

Good, clean, reasonably priced with a good breakfast! I've stayed here several times over the years. It's close to the railroad and other attractions. There is a gas station/ convenience store across the parking lot as well. Friendly staff.

Clean well kept rooms very friendly staff willing to go extra mile to make vacation comfortable Parking was a little tricky tho.

No room refrigerator or microwave. No drink or snack machines, had to go to the convenient store next door. The breakfast offered was embarrassing, I've never seen a hotel set out frozen toaster waffles for their breakfast food. With 2 diabetics in our family, hard boiled eggs were the only options. The other items were cereal, stale plain cake donuts, bread for toast, and yogurt cups. The hotel was pretty noisy as we listened to people walking around the room above us, and the road right outside our window was traveled in the early morning by semi's and dump trucks. The parking is limited and tight. $80/ night would be the max they should charge but we paid $122/ night. We cut our stay there short in search of something more accommodating for the same price.

I'd stay here again but go out for breakfast. The toaster waffles and cold cereal just don't cut it.

Stayed one night as part of a road trip. Hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fairly basic, such as hard-boiled eggs, waffles that you put in the toaster, yogurt, etc., but it was fine. Only issue was that the floors are floating laminate which can be fairly noisy if you stay on the first floor and there are people in the room about you with hard soled shoes walking around, so suggest that you ask for a room on the second floor if possible.

The room was filthy, floors definitely needed to be cleaned, you could feel the thick dirt build up. The pool smelled stagnant like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. We found something crusty and orange on a supposedly clean bathroom towel. And when we arrived the heater was completely shut off so the room was freezing cold for a few hours. The few positives are that the front desk lady was fanstatic, friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, and breakfast was decent The value of the room was pretty poor considering the negative aspects.

The bed was hard as rock no microwave, mini fridge ,and no iron terrible customer service and walls are super thin the girl in the front desk was very rude and the entire town is rude and rasict if you are Mexican black etc overall DO NOT RECOMMEND
