This hotel has made some really amazing changes recently. The hotel looks beautiful since the renovation. Staff is wonderful, welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Not the best but not the worst. Customer service is completely hit or miss depending on who you get - service is worse overnight as they seem to put their best people on daytime shifts (understandable). I booked a one week stay and was bumped out of my scheduled room the first night because an employee needed it to throw a party (a staff member actually told me this). The replacement room had only scorching hot water, so I was given access to the room next door to safely take a shower. That was a nice gesture, but it would have been better to check into the room that was paid for from the start. Once in the correct room, I discovered one of the AC / heat units didn't work and the "kitchenette" consisted of a microwave and a million cabinets (no stove or way to heat water which was the entire reason I booked it). I also found some glow sticks taped to the walls (from the employee's party I presume). My key timed out at least 3 times and the front desk was not thrilled to help. I had booked an early checkout by phone but the desk staff told me it wouldn't be possible, and it took a couple calls to a manager to fix the problem. At 11am, housekeeping almost broke the door trying to enter, so apparently nobody told them. Pros: the space was huge, there was a bathtub / shower combo, two couches, two TVs, the bedding was comfortable, breakfast was decent, and the housekeeping staff was really nice. The main downfall was customer service. In areas with limited choices, it's easy for management to be less than professional and accommodating, so it's a shame this affects the overall customer experience.

Great customer service! The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. In the future, I will definitely stay here again. The Loyalty program is well worth joining. Without even asking, I was upgraded to a suite. The upgrade perks are top shelf! I love IHG One Rewards!!

They charged me $190 per night, price on line was half that , i inquired but no change, place is a mess too, being remodeled. Cant usepool, equipment every where, breakfast are a mess , i do not recommend this place and they should not put prices on line that they do not honor, there are no reasons for up charging. No there no Autumn leaves or special events to warrant the increase.

This hotel is under MAJOR renovation! We drove out of our way 50 miles so we could stay at a Holiday Inn. My bad, i did not see anything on the web site that indicated this hotel is under construction. As you see below, the lobby has a beautiful fireplace but the rest of it is completely torn up. No front desk, very loud work crew and equipment, and a very unorganized clerk. We were so disappointed but, tired of driving, we checked in anyway…We were given a room on the third floor far away from the construction noise. Unfortunately we were given the wrong key TWICE. The third floor was still being renovated, no baseboards, hallway air conditioner missing, but the laundry was on the third floor and only cost $1 for washer and $1 for dryer. We did have to move the washer over to get the plug firmly seated in the socket. Our room, when we finally got in (the door was actually stuck shut and was hard to both open and close) looked great. We were in a suite room with two queen beds. The room was clean except for the bathroom floor. One of the beds was up against the window and airconditioner, so to open the blind we had to crawl across the bed. The air conditioner was blocked by the bed but did cool the room. The pool was very relaxing after we unplugged the electric cord going to the pool cleaner in the pool. The water was refreshing. The pool itself hasnt been renovated but the flooring around the pool has…with nice white floor tile. Talk about slippery when wet. Now for breakfast…we have enjoyed the HI breakfasts and they have been consistent through our other stays. We found most of the same choices for breakfast but the food was COLD. The orange juice jug was empty (machine not yet working) and the cinnabons were under the warming light with the covers on (one tray was empty) When the kitchen person came back from her smoke break, i mentioned that the scrambled eggs and turkey sausage were cold. All she said was that she had filled it recently then went about her business which was walking to the back room. She did eventually bring out another jug of juice but only when someone asked where it was. She never did wipe off any of the tables. We went back to our room and packed to leave…a tile fell off the wall in the hallway as we were leaving. We turned in our keys and left for our 50 mile drive to get back onto our planned route. I hope they finish renovations soon!!!

When I arrived at 2pm this was when I was informed for the first time that to check in before 4pm it would be an additional 35.00 WOW …WHAT?! I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express’ for 20 yrs and have never…never paid to check in early and check in is universally at 3pm. There hotel was practically empty so could not be a cleaning problem. I called my IHG rewards number but because this is privately owned and not really a Holiday Inn they could do nothing though they did try but the check in person said no exceptions. Second the check in person was dismissive, unprofessional as well as unwelcoming when I arrived. After an hour on the phone with customer service and writing a poor review the manager called and after I expected my situation agreed to wave the fee but by that time I had already driven 2 hrs homes. Rooms are nice and ample clean though missing a closet… strange… there is no grab bar or shelf in shower but there was lots of hot water and pressure was good. No hot coffee in the lobby though there was a dispenser. Seems strange how long this hotel has been under renovation and boxed stored in lobby, lobby furniture ver old and not inviting. Seems like someone needs to take the project in hand and get it done. Also a class for the reception on customer service very much needed

This place was beyond filthy and disgusting. The couch only had 3 legs and was so filthy I would never sit on it, holes in the plaster, sink leaked, no switch plates on electrical outlets, door was loose on hinges, water sat in the tub when showering, the chair was broken with no leather on the arms, luggage rack was broken...I could go on and on. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!

I must be a glutton for punishment. Last time i stayed here there was no closet, so at least I knew to ask for a room with a closet. Last time there was NO place to hang clothes. Now, NO tv reception and NO phone in the room. I called the front desk on my personal phone, when it was answered I was told to hold on . Five minute later, he hangs up on me. I call back again. I tell him I had to call on my cell phone because there was no phone in the room. I was told: we're under renovation. You had to have a phone before. But not now, after you've renovated this room?? Really?? Half of the TV channels fonts work either. So the manager(that's who he said he was??) came to check the TV. Another excuse: were switching TV providers. ??? And that's my problem how?? He said "our web site states we're under renovation ". No, they're really non-operational until they finish renovating. Last time I was here, I requested housekeeping, they NEVER did it. As he left my room, the "manager" (??) said he was the owner and was going to put me on the " never stay here again list". If you can't handle questions from guests, maybe you shouldnt be an owner. I NEVER raised my voice, NEVER swore. I just asked some questions: last time it was "where do I hang my clothes? " This time I asked where was ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX and where was the phone in the room? Neither a threatening question or asked in an angry, vulgar, loud way. So if he puts me on the "never stay here again list", he's cutting his nose off to spite his face. I'm happy to stay elsewhere if he doesn't want $$$$.
