We purchased the breakfast package (family of 4) for the 3 days we were there, which was worth it in my opinion, however, Anna, the young lady that checked us in was very unprofessional and rude when I inquired about what I needed to do for the breakfast because she had not mentioned details about it when I checked in. We also had Hershey park tickets that I had not received, and she had a very quick response of they should be received in email. When I explained I hadn't gotten them, she offered to print them. Once they were printed & given to me, it is then I asked about the breakfast package if I needed vouchers or anything. She made a sigh & rolled her eyes 🙄 in front of me as though I shouldn't have asked that question. Ugh, that started our trip off well... NOT! 😡 The hotel itself is very outdated and has tight quarters for rooms with 2 beds. We were put in the Reeses tower, which is close to the indoor pool, but is also a nice confusing walk to the lobby & restraunts that are in the Kisses tower. Our room's coffee pot kept turning itself on and off at different times during the day & night. The breakfast buffet (on weekends) in the Fire & Grain was good, as well as the regular menu breakfast during the week. Bear's Den food was decent. The gift shop was nice & staff was friendly. We spent the day at Hershey Park all day on Sunday and got a text in the mid-day (thankfully, I checked it) from the hotel that said they would be cutting off the power in the hotel from 12AM-5AM Monday morning. My husband requires a CPAP to sleep, and when he called the hotel to inquire about it, they apologized and said it was something unexpected that needed to be done, however, on the shuttle back to the Lodge we found out from other guests that they knew about the power outage for a week, but the staff didn't bother to mention it to us when we checked in. My husband spoke with the manager on Duty (same person he spoke with on the phone about what could be done) when we got back to the lodge, and the manager admitted that he had lied to my husband on the phone. They did make a reservation for us at The Hershey Hotel for Sunday evening so my husband could get some sleep and comped the stay there (more expensive accommodations, $509 for one night), then came back to Hershey Lodge for the last night of our vacation. The indoor Waterpark is very small compared to Great Wolf Lodge, and caters more to younger children (I have teens). The kids did enjoy the watersides, but that was the only thing they could really do because the regular pool area is small. Our servers at the restraunts and other restraunt staff were awesome, with no issues at all, more accommodating and wonderful customer service!

The most unwelcoming and unfriendly staff I have ever experienced. NO room service for cleaning. On the day of departure at 9 am the housekeeping roams the hall banging on doors. Over priced EVERYTHING. Rooms are antiquated and the hallways are filthy. The front entrance is the ONLY updated area in the building. Please, please find another place to stay, it is not close to anything except the hospital, the waiting times for all transportation to the area are long and and transports are small.

Don't waste your time or money, overpriced and a logistical nightmare onsite. It is clean and room was efficient. Parking and room layout was horrendous. Arrived a day early for an anniversary trip for a week stay at the Historic Hotel Hershey, and they could not accommodate us, and booked us into the Hershey Lodge for the day before our arrival. Big mistake on our part, I can not recommend this money grab, and less than efficient Lodge. Everything is more complicated than necessary. Love the chocolate, hate the Hershey Corporation trying to become a Disney.

Nice place. Musty hall and weird bites on my leg when I woke up. Not bedbugs but itchy and swollen. Conference facilities excellent. Accommodating conference staff. Excellent restaurant staff, menu selection and taste. Ample parking available

The Hershey Lodge is an excellent experience! I’m getting ready to leave and only wish I could extend this wonderful weekend! The customer service here is EXCELLENT! Thank you Keith Burnett, Harry Michelson and Ashley in the parking lot! I can’t thank you enough for making a big place seem small and intimate, for trying 24/7 to fulfill every need and desire we have! The lodge itself is lovely with plenty of activities for every member of every family! The water park/pool is fantastic. Loved the soothing hot whirlpool too. Ashley met and greeted us with a smile. She helped my daughter and son-in-law get the luggage immediately out of the car and into the room. Thanks, Ashley! Then overnight/early morning I needed to speak with someone about staying an extra day. Harry thank you for being cordial and kind and giving me great advice! Most important, Keith thank you for going above and beyond to assist me in arranging an extra day to enjoy my family and your Hershey Lodge! Talk about making someone feel special and cared about! Hershey Lodge is lucky to have you as part of their team! You give this place an excellent reputation! Yes, I plan on returning in the near future! You have a new, loyal customer!

Unless you have a very specific reason to stay here, don’t. Very poor value for such an exorbitant price. The room was TINY. The tv was mounted on the wall right above the only place to sit in the room, other than the bed. No easy chair, nothing. I don’t want to eat while sitting on the bed, and the projects I wanted to work on in the evenings I had to sit at the table to do (but then couldn’t watch tv at the same time). I literally could count the hair follicles in the stubble on one male actor’s face, the tv was so close. Housekeeping obviously doesn’t pay much attention to doing a thorough job, examples — there were two kleenex with that “bottom of the box blue stripe” loosely tucked into the box — imagine my surprise when I took them out, and found that there was NOT a new box underneath. I picked up one of the wash clothes to take my shower and it had dark track marks on it, like it had dropped on the floor and been run over by a cart or something. When I checked in, we discussed when I would like to have my room serviced — after two days was the decision, the person checking me in confirmed this, and, I thought, entered it into the computer. But nobody serviced my room that day. I was going to bring my unsatisfactory experience to the attention of the front desk staff when I checked out, but when I approached the desk all three staff were “working on their computers” (no other guests). Eventually one of them looked up and said “somebody would be with me soon” and went back to what she was doing. Obviously, the front desk staff isn’t any more interested in the service provided to their guests than the housekeeping staff. This attitude must flow down from management, who clearly feel it’s fine to provide such a cramped room to a guest for the same price as everybody else.

Very clean rooms, easily accessible from parking lot area. Had issue first night with very noisy neighbor in room next door at 3am. Called the front desk and within five minutes security came and handled the situation. Very quiet each night after this (stayed three nights total). Ate at Bear's Den, Fire & Grain and Cocoa Beanery--all very good meals. Chocolate caramel martini is AMAZING! Used the outdoor pool, very clean. Personable lifeguards. Can't wait to come back again!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel until it was time to check out. I tried to check out from the room and it wasn't available. I then went down to the lobby and stood in line for over 20 minutes and then a member of the staff told us that we were automatically signed out at 11. It would of been nice to know that ahead of time so I didn't have to waste 20 minutes waiting in line.
