The staff are friendly and kind.
The room is so spacious that it is more than enough for two people.
The breakfast is limited in variety and does not include hot food, but it is suitable for a quick and light meal before going out. Cereal, oatmeal, bread, yogurt, etc. There is a supermarket next door, a McDonald's across the street, a Starbucks nearby, and walking distance to Hermosa Beach. It may have been a weekday, but it was really nice to be able to enjoy the local feeling without being crowded. I stayed 3 nights, but I didn't meet Japanese people.
There is no luxury or flashy resort feeling at all.
