June 21, 2024
I was traveling east alone and stopped here for one night on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The price was very low, about $65. I didn't expect much, but it really was okay. The desk was run by a young guy, possibly a teenage son of the owner/manager. He was friendly and gave me room #106. The actual town of Hermitage is about 4 miles away where I went to have dinner. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The place is set down below the highway in front and it has that sort of rundown look. I can afford a much better hotel, but for many folks this may be all they can afford. Many of the people staying here drove beat up cars and looked like they probably didn't have much money. The website says breakfast is included, but all they have is coffee and pastry. I went to the nearby gas/convenience store for a hot breakfast sandwich and coffee.
