Checked in close to midnight, only to find out our room didn't have a working shower. Called the front desk she stated she would come by and look at it. Wait 30 min called her back since she didn't show she said she did go and knocked but we didn't answer I asked her what number she went to and she gave me the wrong number. She was knocking on someone else's door. Then she finally came by the room looked at the shower and said would have to move to us. I explained to her that we had a baby and a carrier that we needed to be on the bottom floor. I followed her back to lobby so she could get us new keys. Told me she did not have anything on the bottom floor. So we decided that at 1am we had no choice but to go up and down the stairs. She assigned me a room went back to pack up my family went to our new room upstairs only to find out the key did not work. I went back downstairs got the keys fixed went back up stairs and that room that she assigned had the deadbolt feom thw inside. Had to go back downstairs try to get a new room assigned and she couldn't figure out how to change it. Finally about an hour later entered our room that she said was an upgrade. The room was filthy. Curtains were stained and torn, shower had hair in it, carpet was dirty, sheets had brown stains. The room was out dated and smelled like old wet rag. But I was tired, we all were we were not gonna go back down stairs across the courtyard to go complain again. Needless to say we will never stay here again. And the front desk lady was nice she did state she was new. I understand it was not her fault. But for the high price we paid I expected better. But the town has 2 hotels. And they cater to long staying business, truck drivers cause the place was ran down.
