The location of the hotel is quiet yet prosperous. Although it is not in the city center or the central railway station area, it is very close. There is an underground railway station and a small bus terminal not far away, so it is very convenient to get there! Attached are photos of attractions not far from the hotel. There are buses not far from the hotel, and it only takes about 30 minutes to walk there.

Basically a self-service hotel , hotel is new and clean , typically business hotel. Not much to complain exclude it is a bit far away from city center.

The reservation website does not have an email reservation number, so in the end, you have to ask an employee to check the reservation number by name before you can check in. Fortunately, the self-check-in tablet can call the staff, and the office is actually right next to it. Except for some minor problems during check-in, the room equipment is very good! There is construction nearby and there is a slope, so it takes a lot of effort to pull the suitcase.

Great hotel. Super clean and efficient. You have everything you need-microwave, fridge, kettle.
Oh well, if you are Gen X and above,you will enjoy this place. Self check in n out. Minimal style but I have to say it again..very very clean n efficient.
You can check in n out through machine so no wait. You can buy your food n eat there anytime you want. Some nice restaurants also locate nearby. But we love the cost vibe of the hotel.
Staffs are very friendly as well. They actually work hard to keep the hotel clean n meet all customer needs.
The hotel is very close to Hakaniemi market.lots of nice food there. Also,S market n K market if you want to buy some ready to eat meal at the hotel.
So,I highly recommend Citybox Helsinki for everyone !

Highly recommended! Especially because the self-service check-in machine could not find my reservation, so I asked the service staff in the office next to me for help. He enthusiastically accompanied me to the machine to operate it, and finally helped me check in manually. Thank you so much!
The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the station and there are two supermarkets next to it.
The hotel itself is uphill, so you might want to be careful if you have a lot of luggage.

I didn't know that the road behind the hotel was under construction, so I had a hard time dragging my suitcase up there, covered in dust, so my first impression was not good.

There are roadworks outside the hotel when visiting in June. If there’s an information to guests in advance, it’ll be better for them to get the better ways (especially with heavy luggages) to arrive. The room and public spaces are clean and the laundry room is available which’s really convenient for traveling longer.
The only complaint is that the beers stored in fridge are stolen.
