The basics were all good. The location was quiet and there was a popular food truck nearby. On the negative side, there were paint drips on the floor and fridge.

The motel is very convenient and close to a few restaurants and the downtown area. Helper Beer (brewery and restaurant) is just a block away. The motel itself was clean but well worn. It is in the process of refurbishment as far as I can observe. The room had an electric fireplace, microwave, and refrigerator. For the price this is an excellent value. I would stay there again.

It’s my own fault, there’s a sign at check in saying “no refunds”. Just ask to see and smell the room before paying, you’ll be fine. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke, mixed with another scent we couldn’t identify. Attempted to stay but ended up leaving after dinner. Worker assured us our’s was one of remodeled rooms.
