The location of the hotel is very remote. After checking in, I found out that the Yijian Hotel is suitable for mountaineering and chasing the aurora! Outdoor lovers must come. The hotel has a sauna and a hot spring, but when she checked in, she said that there was a strong wind five days ago and the equipment was damaged, so she had no chance to try it.

Wir wurden freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Auch im Restaurant war des Personel sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig, mit einem modernen Bad. Die Betten waren angenehm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war abwechslungsreich und hat uns gut geschmeckt. Man konnte sogar selber Crepes machen und garnieren :-) Kaffee/Schokolade waren jederzeit kostenlos wie auch der Besuch im Wellness-Bereich mit den zwei Saunas und einen Whirlpool draussen in einem drehbaren Glas-Iglu. Sowohl die Südküste wie auch das nördlich vom Hotel gelegene Gebiet mit dem Geysir und dem tollen Wasserfall Gulfoss sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Im Restaurant haben wir einmal gegessen. Dieses Nachtessen hat gut geschmeckt, allerdings waren die Beilagen sehr bescheiden und etwas viel davon noch püriert.
