Excellent stay!! Must add that when we arrived our room wasn’t ready due to some confusion, however we were offered a free drink and an upgrade to their best room. We also had dinner there (carvery night) and the food was excellent, the beef was moist and cooked to perfection. Good room and comfortable bed; highly recommended, couldn’t fault them at all.

The room was very clean, staff friendly and locals where even more friendly. Good selection of food n drink. Entertainment towards the end of the week and weekends making it an interesting evening everyday. Prices of the drinks on the dear side but not as bad as other pubs in the area

As a solo female traveller I felt very safe there. A special mention needs to go to Roxy (Rocksi ) who was extremely welcoming and even went as far to let her parents know that I was there alone and to look out for me. Mark and Cheryl took me under their wing and made sure that my last night was fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to book there again.

I visited Cornwall this summer and the cornubia was the first pub I came across after a long drive. Your barmaid Roxy was working and made me feel welcomed instantly after a long drive it was an amazing start to my holiday. I have been back since and will be coming back as your barmaid has made me feel the most welcome compared to other pubs I’ve visited. Thank you Roxy for your hospitality and recommendation for the area x

Went here for the Sunday carvery and will definitely go again. The restaurant area was clean with comfortable seating and the meal was excellent. We all had the beef and turkey, which was perfect, a selection of vegetables, all well cooked, huge yorkshire puddings and lovely roast potatoes. Although they were busy there was still a nice atmosphere.

The best staff and regular clientele we have seen as a couple on our travels! My boss booked this last minute as a reward for our hard work after a fantastically successful exhibition in Penzance. Despite the last minute booking, the staff were well prepared for us. Upon arrival the extremely professional and courteous bar-staff treated us so well. After such a busy exhibition, we were tired and confused. As well as the staff, the regular clientele were fantastic at helping us with directions and other local advice. The shining star of our stay were the two bar ladies. Between them they helped us complete the simplest of tasks that we were unable to perform (ie working a very easy to use coffee maker) and charging our phones with their own chargers. Whenever we got confused, they were there to guide and support us until we went to bed! We can not recommend this hotel enough. The room was spotless when we arrived, with all the modern conveniences (that we couldn't work until shown with much patience by the aforementioned staff). Anyone looking for a friendly, professional and welcoming hotel - get your booking in quick!

Ticked the box, pretty average, room ok good service from staff (only1 there) Door on room 3 bit awkward on using the key, room not on main road so a little quieter . To late for supper so kebab from down the road not good Football on the Tv and no breakfast but again went down the Road opposite Aldi

Absolutely lovely service, Dee and Ross were so accommodating and helpful, we usually go to different pubs every week but will be coming here much more often because of the service. My doggie also loved the best seat in the house in front of the fire Would highly recommend, thank you very much!!

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The room was freezing cold. No working heating. A very thin duvet on the bed and a blanket that was for a single bed not a double. Single glazing. Filthy, moldy window frames. Traffic noise. ......The list is endless....... We complained to ******* and the owners/managers but neither ******* nor we got a response. Very unprofessional!
