It was an unmanned hotel with no hotel employees and only machines.
Something wrong? I couldn't receive it by machine and contacted the hotel number, but I didn't call, and contacted the company of the reservation site and asked it to solve it, but I want you to be able to contact me when something happens.

Outstanding
I stayed overnight on a girl trip. The room was very clean and the customer service was very good. The morning and dinner were half buffet, but the midnight snack was very delicious with steak and seafood teppanyaki. I was happy to have beer, soft drink ice cream, etc. for free after the bath, and the free rental of yukata was great. However, if I only say one thing, there was no free transfer from the station → Hotel after 19:00, so I headed to the hotel after a night cruise, but there was no taxi at all and I walked to the hotel. Heading to I was quite tired. I would be happy if there was a free transfer until a little later.
Nnachi0626I noticed that the key to the room number described in the paper handed over at check-in was different, and when I called the front desk, I replied, ”please come to the front desk because I gave the key wrongly.” I thought, ”I'm going to take it, and I'm going to open the room with the key I gave, and I'm already carrying the other luggage, which is correct? When I called again, I was suspended for a long time and said, ”I will bring it to the room because it is correct to pass it first,” but when the chime rings and opens the door, I was told ”I'm sorry” while talking on the inner line telephone. I was disappointed with the staff's response afterwards, not that I made a mistake in the room number. After all, there was no apology from the top until the end of the inn. I'm sure there was no report from my subordinates. I was sorry for the room I opened wrongly (because I was absent, I don't think I apologized to these people). I was very sad. The view from the room, the bath and the dishes were very good, so I would like to use it when I come to Miyajima again. Employees' training, reporting. I want you to aim at a nice inn from now on.
RRosemarie WuThe location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Mt. Misen Ropeway station. There is a free shuttle bus station right outside the hotel to go the ropeway station. You can see the Torii throughout the hotel window. At night when the Torii with lights on, the view is stunning! The indoor onsen is not big but it's ok for 10+ people at the same time, the outside onsen is small and can only occupies 4-5ppl.
The staff in the hotel are very friendly and thoughtful. I was fully wet after the hiking to Mt. Mismen on the raining day, they helped me to dry all my shoes and coat. Happy to stay at Iwaso and will definitely stay again.
GGuest UserOld style bedsheet , don’t even have drinking glasses or cups in the room .
Room is pretty basic , but location is good .
Room comes with breakfast but not very nice though . Breakfast time is crowded even at 6.30am
Will recommend this place inky for it’s location to near ferry terminal for ferry .
MMani_123Near the pier, up a hill, the environment is quiet, the bathhouse is not big, and fortunately there are not many people. The breakfast is exquisite. Some of the waiters are from Taiwan, so communication is no problem.
From the rooms on the sixth floor of the hotel, you can see the old ruins of Miyao Castle on the key mountain (the site of the Itsukushima Battle), and you can see the large torii gate from the side, and the view is acceptable.

GGuest UserGood points: 1. Location is amazing since it’s right on the island and everything is within walking distance. 2. We had breakfast and supper included in the stay. Food was varied and plentiful for most palates. Plenty of fruit and veg too. 3. Staff for 98% of the time was great. Language barriers are expected. Google translate is a perfect alternative to the translation issue. The front desk staff were awesome and was extremely helpful. 4. Room is spacious for a traditional Japanese hotel. We had our own onsen which was delightful. The beds were mostly comfortable and we had two full mattresses pushed together creating a massive king! 5. Once you enter the hotel you must take off your shoes and the hotel provides house slippers which generally fit most people. The lobby has shoe cubbies for your shoes. They do not lock, but Japan has very little petty theft so you don’t need to fret over potential thievery. Negative points: 1. This is of no fault of the hotel, rather it’s a Google maps problem. Be aware Google maps will basically have you climb the mountain and drag your suitcase through a dirt path. Instead put in the Miyajima post office and with the water to your right, turn up to the small road with the post office to your back. Keep going straight for about 2.5 city blocks and you’ll walk right into the hotel. Much easier than the 40 minute hike we took. 2. Restaurant staff on the whole were great. Only issue was this morning when we went to breakfast this morning and tried to sit in our usual table, the staff tried to sit us with some other people. I asked if we could sit at a different table and the individual said no and walked away. We didn’t know these people they tried to sit us with. However, they were tourists like us. I was frustrated because the staff member just walked away from us when I was still speaking to him. Very rude! 3. The toilet room smelled really bad. It was a combination of mold and chemicals.
GGuest UserGood.
As other reviews, it was a facility that felt a little old, but it was a stable and safe facility, and there was no mistake.
The view is good, but if it is on the 3rd floor in the ocean view room, there is a disappointment because the ceiling on the 2nd floor is about 10 meters in front of the room.
When I told him at the front desk at check-in, ”This is ○○ (my name) booked at Trip.com,” the expression of the veteran female staff became a little steep. And if it is another hotel, he immediately finds my name from the guest list, saying ”Yes, ○○”, but he does not respond like that. ”First, please fill in your name here.” It felt as if I was told, ”I'm in trouble if I call my name, please write my name on this paper, that's how our hotel is doing.” (There may be a story that my feelings are damaged, but it was true that the expressions of the staff became steep). It was a little disappointing.
The night cruise was good.
旅旅遊N次過客Good location, very close to the station and the pier, there are staff at check in, the staff is also very friendly and willing to help, the bed in the room is clean, the fork plug is not enough, Pantry is narrow and a bit messy, and the price is low.
