Have you ever had the misfortune of staying at a hotel that turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare? This such experience has left me angry, livid and utterly disgusted. I was unfortunately there a while and I’ve bitten my tongue but enough is enough. I will recount my encounter with this dirty roach infested hotel and shed light on the unfortunate behavior of an owner whom I’ve seen all of twice in my long-term stay. Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted by a friendly staff but a very unsettling site outside. The lack of cleanliness was evident from the very beginning, setting the tone for what would turn out to be an unforgettable stay. Stepping into my assigned room, only intensified my disappointment. The first thing that caught my attention was the presence of roaches scaring around, seemingly undisturbed by the unhygienic conditions. It was an appalling site that made me question the establishments commitment to basic cleanliness furthermore, the room itself was in dire need of maintenance and an update, the walls were staying the furniture worn out and the bedding seemed like it was from the early 90s. Clearly outdated! I approach the staff and conveyed the severity of the situation, and I was moved to different rooms a few times. I understand the front desk can only do front desk duties. So I appreciate them at least moving me. I’ve seen the GM bomb rooms and have pest control yet the situation is still out of hand. The true measure of a hotels character lies in the behavior of its owner, who unfortunately I’ve crossed paths twice, and after gathering courage to try and speak to him, his attitude was nothing short of appalling. Being met with disrespect, his dismissive and rude demeanor, only served to reinforce my belief that this establishment was not deserving of any guests. It is crucial for any hotel owners to prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. Unfortunately, in this case, the owner failed to me, even the most basic standards as consumers. We deserve better. It is my hope by sharing my experience, others can avoid a similarly disheartening encounter.

The hotel is terrible, there’s bugs that crawl all over the place, the only reason me and my family stayed there was because it was the cheapest place that we could afford to live at. The manager wants you to grill your food down by the dumpster so the travelers don’t see it and make them look bad. He gets mad when the kids are outside playing together. I wouldn’t stay there even if it was your last resort. They have a pregnant woman spraying pesticides. The house keepers are awesome she is so sweet.

Coming from the north this hotel is 13 hours from the Canada Maine Boarder and is just off I95. You cannot find a more convenient hotel. That being said one smell was overwhelming as I opened the door. THE SMELL OF CLEAN. IT was clean. I have coached for 40 years and stayed in 100's of discount hotels. I have never found one with such a fresh scent. Everything was clean. It was a large room with a king and a pull out. I have stayed at this interchange before in higher end hotels and they were not as fresh. This is an excellent location. There are all options for food within a mile up and down the road from this place. It is on my list of stops on my yearly run up and down the coast. OH yes it was the most inexpensive of the bunch.
