Stayed here on 24 October. Staff were very friendly and the room was nice. The bed was super comfortable. There was some issues with card payment being taken but we were given free breakfast for the inconvenience which was great! The hotel was also easy to get. There is a train track behind the hotel but we couldn’t hear it from the room we stayed in (132).

Booked in for 2 nights for £255 as my Goddaughters birthday party. I drove from Northamptonshire Checked in on the Friday about 5pm. I am a blue badge holder and was not made aware there was steps into the property. Didn't spend long in the room as going out to eat. I returned to the hotel alone around 2245hrs and there was quite a few men hanging around the door, I did feel scared but what could I do but pull up my big girl pants put my head down and get in. Got into the room sorted myself and went to get into bed, also the bed was very low, this was when I noticed with my feet that the bottom of the sheet was scrunched up so I had to get up and remake the bed as the sheet was not tucked in. Eventually got into bed and that was when I realised the train lines were next to the hotel so every 2 or 3 minutes the train passes til 1am then you get a freight train around 4am... Great! Was up early on the Saturday and out for the party. I returned to the room to have 40 winks before going out for dinner and that didn't happen due to the trains and the general hotel noise. On the Saturday night two of my friends seen me back to the hotel due to the men hanging around outside they then got an user home. I was rudely awoken on Sunday morning by a staff outside my room talking loudly to another staff down the corridor that she needs to get her blood tests repeated, I got up stuck my head out to see what was going on slammed my door and they shut up. I was now up so started to get myself sorted to leave. I went to the other side of the bed this was when I noticed how dirty the room was it was disgusting, thick laters of dust on picture frames, the bed frame on the wall was rotten, light switches were dirty, skirting boards and wall had some kind of liquid spilt on it or possibly vomited on. Loads of spiders webs one with a spider entrapped, ventilation covers dirty, and the list gives on... thank heavens for camera phones.

Please please please avoid this hotel. Arrived this afternoon, before checking in I went across the road to sainsburys ( was gone for 15-20 minutes) came back to grab my bag from my van to find I had been broken into. All personal stuff taken and over 3k of work equipment taken. How the hell does this happen in a secure carpark, full of cctv and in broad daylight? Went to reception and was told "it happens all the time here" and he couldn't care less. He refused to look back at the cctv and i was told to call the police. Reading past reviews, this is clearly a organised crime hotspot and others have had no joy with the police. The police told me it will take 3-4 days to investigate please avoid!!!!

The Premier Inn is in a great location opposite a railway station that has train through to Euston. There is also a large Sainsburys near by should you forget anything. The staff were all really friendly. The room was great and we slept really well. The breakfast was well stocked.

Bad sleep due to loud high speed trains. As hotel backs onto railway lines. The noise is loud and regular. Once the inter city high speed trains start in the morning. You can forget about getting back to sleep. Family members at the front of the hotel, overlooking the car park said each time the high speed train whizzes past the room shudders for 10 seconds.

The welcome was not friendly. The rooms were noisy due to the train tracks nearby. They were not as clean as they should have been, and the bed was not comfortable. Cooked breakfast was not appealing as it had been prepared much earlier and set there under the heated lamp. The staff offered your table to other clients while you were still in the restaurant, gone to have some more coffee. NOT a done thing and no appologies. While there are many empty tables, the staff only wanted you to occupy a table that was used earlier, and they would clean it for you, which could have chosen a different place to have my breakfast.

Hotel stinks of ****, building & furnishings look tired, could do with a refurb. Not an aesthetically pleasing hotel or location.
