TownePlace Suites Geneva at SPIRE Academy

We were stopping through this part of Ohio and found this nice and brand new hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. They had good options for breakfast! Everyone enjoyed their stays here. I appreciated the walking distance the hotel offered to a fun and delicious little ice cream place nearby! Would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Marriott TPS in Geneva, OH during a visit to SPIRE. The hotel is brand new. It was very clean, well run, and the bed was super comfy. My room was spacious. The staff was all very friendly. Will definitely be back!!!

I am currently staying at the TownePlace Suites in Geneva, Ohio, and I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by the complete lack of support from the hotel staff. When I checked in three nights ago, I specifically informed the front desk that I might need to extend my stay due to a power outage at my home. I was reassured that this would not be a problem, and I relied on that promise. Now, with my checkout time approaching, I’ve been told that the hotel is fully booked and that there’s nothing they can do to extend my stay. I’m here with a 10-year-old and an infant, without transportation, and with no power at home. Despite explaining my dire situation, the front desk staff coldly refused to help, leaving me to figure out what to do on my own. This is not the level of care I expected from Marriott. I trusted this brand to stand by their word, especially in an emergency, but instead, My Family has been abandoned when I needed help the most. I’m still holding out for a last-minute resolution, but this experience has seriously shaken my trust in Marriott. If you’re looking for a hotel that will support you in a crisis, I strongly suggest you look ELSEWHERE.

I can’t believe that it was so awful. This is brand new and on the same campus as the Spire Academy. 1st they said I had to pay extra because I had a separate living room and didn’t have to check out until noon. NOT TRUE. The heater did not work properly it went from freezing cold to OK all night. Frost was on the inside window. The maintenance man simply said change rooms. Was 21-30 degrees outside. The shower only had cold water. The kitchen was as described. I am a Marriott member for years and expected a discount…they gave me a few dollars and wrote an email telling me to be happy with what I was given…..WHAT?

We were here to watch the eclipse. We got to the hotel much quicker than expected. We were able to get into our room by 9:30 am! What a wonderful little gem. This is a new hotel and the staff was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Morgan and Marissa at the front desk along with Leanna and Aidan were the best. The outdoor areas are so comfortable, clean and well maintained.
